Vehicle essential because unfortunately no public transport. Provide snow tires or chains between November and March (mountain law).

My place is close to the VAL D'ALLOS ski resorts. Numerous hiking trails, close to the Verdon Gorge, and Mercantour. In the village of Beauvezer: - Pizzeria / Grocery / Country House / Bellevue Restaurant. Old carpentry workshop, under stone vault from 1719, pretty south-facing terrace, very nice for sunbathing. Free shuttle to the SKI resort, 20 minutes. (sheets and towels provided) Minimum 4 day stay during vacation period.
