Majka gave us great, easy-to-follow instructions for parking, getting to/into the apartment, and once inside there was an important informational sheet. She was very responsive to any questions we had, and her place felt like a little cottage escape in Tuscany. So beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches. She even left us wine and champagne since she knew we were on our honeymoon! SOO sweet! Highly recommend staying here!

We spent a delightful 2 weeks in the authentic centuries old farmhouse in classic rural Chianti. Simonetta and Giovanni were our warm and engaging hosts and they really ensured that we had an enjoyable stay. Simonetta was attentive to our day to day needs and was a fountain of information about the Chianti region and beyond. We were entertained by Giovanni as he showed us the farms own wines and olive oil. Podere Tegline proved an excellent base for us to explore Chianti and other places in Tuscanywhich were all in reach by car. We had an excellent experience made more enjoyable by the warm hospitality of Simonetta and Giovanni

Because of the gorgeous remoteness, it took us some time to locate the entrance gate, but then we entered heaven. The place is captivating in so many ways - the historic stone structure, the entrancing views, the homey & artistic decor. It was like visiting a friend and being welcomed into a warm family retreat. Prepare to cocoon as there is no nearby store and few restaurant options. The roads were in poor condition due to recent severe storms, so it was an adventure to make our way in the evening to Castellina for dinner and back . The road in the opposite direction toward Radda was completely closed! But I loved our short stay and will dream of returning.
