Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable en famille. Il y avait tout le nécessaire pour le bébé. Pour les adultes, le jacuzzi couvert est très appréciable, surtout pour se détendre les jours de pluie

Super rapport qualité-prix, l’emplacement est top (à proximité d’un supermarché à 5min en voiture, proche de Royan et Saintes), cette maison vous dépaysera de la ville. Attention au fait d’avoir 1 salle de bain pour 10 personnes (mais nous le savons dès la réservation) Sinon, vraiment conforme aux attentes, je recommande !

Tout y est reposant. Le vieux moulin en pierre et son environnement verdoyant pour les yeux, le bruit de la rivière et le chant des oiseaux pour les oreilles, l'odeur des arbres en fleurs et de l'herbe coupée. Le moulin est à 5-10 minutes à pied de toute les commodités qu'offrent la petite ville médiévale de Pons. Louise et Michael nous ont accueillis chaleureusement, se souciant de notre bien être chez eux tout en préservant notre intimité. Nous avons passé un excellent week-end au Moulin Chaillou, nous ne pouvons que le recommander. Merci Louise, merci Michael.

We had the pleasure of staying in one of Meg and Mark’s gîtes with our 2 teenage daughters for 4 nights. I had no hesitation in booking the gite having seen how beautiful it looked on the website and reading the glowing reviews both on the website and on Airbnb. On arrival we received a warm welcome from Meg and Mark who showed us around the gîte and the grounds. The gîte itself is just beautiful. It is absolutely spotless and exceptionally well equipped. The beds were super comfortable made even better by the high quality bedding. The grounds and gardens are very well kept and the pool is stunning with great views of the surrounding countryside - it was a big hit as was the hot tub in our private garden! To top it off, Meg and Mark are the most fantastic warm, friendly and welcoming hosts but always respectful of our privacy. Thank you Meg and Mark for a truly memorable few days and for your fantastic hospitality. Chez Lussaud is an absolute gem and is a credit to you!

Great for a short stay in a beautiful part of France! The host instructions re. local amenities and activities are super helpful given the relatively remote location.

Virginie est une hôte très accueillante et disponible pour toutes les demandes. le logement correspondait aux photos et très calme.. c est très cosy!! le petit déjeuner proposé en option est très copieux. la piscine partagée et l espace spa sauna sont des plus pour ce logement . lieu idéalement placé pour découvrir la région.. je recommande vivement

We absolutely loved our stay at Rose's place in Villefagnan, for many reasons. Yvette greeted us, showed us how to use everything, and answered all my questions and requests for help. Rose's home is very comfortable. Top quality beds, pillows and linens, empty dressers so we didn't have to live out of a suitcase, a fully equipped kitchen, the list goes on. The beautiful backyard, with grass, flowers and cherry trees was our favorite place to spend a sunny afternoon. And the village of Villefagnan is wonderful, too. The town square is 2 houses away, and the patisserie is just across the square, so we had fresh croissants every morning. Two restaurants, a bouchère, a corner market, Tobac, and a pharmacy make up the rest of the village, everything you need. There are bike roads in every direction, so our dogs enjoyed long walks every day. The locals are friendly and welcoming. We can't wait to go back.

Het was echt een heel fijne week in de gîte rosiers. We hebben erg genoten van de mooie omgeving en leuke activiteiten in de buurt. Super vriendelijke hosts, ze stonden altijd voor ons klaar voor hulp, leuke tips en hier en daar een babbel. Het is zeker en vast een aanrader!!

Dit verblijf was ver boven onze verwachting. Na dat we foto's en reviews hadden bekeken waren we uiteraard al enthousiast, maar in het echt is het zo veel mooier! Het is gewoonweg fantastisch. De gite is prachtig ingericht en geeft je direct dat huiselijke gevoel. Je hebt ontzettend veel privacy, maar daarentegen genoeg ruimte om een heerlijke plekje te vinden in de fantastische tuin. Het zwembad was natuurlijk echt een hoogtepunt, heerlijk om na een dag sightseeing te kunnen loungen aan het zwembad en vergeet niet dat je daarbij nog eens je diner kunt bestellen, wat helemaal geweldig is! Alicia en Michael staan altijd voor je klaar, niets is te gek en ze komen graag een praatje met je maken of tips geven voor de omgeving, maar zijn zeker niet opdringerig en geven je echt de ruimte om te genieten. Wat een toffe plek hebben zij gecreëerd met z'n 2en. Echt een dikke 10 vanuit ons!

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans le logement de Marie Noelle ! ✨ Le logement était parfaitement propre et corresponds au photos bien que ces dernières ne le mettent pas suffisamment en valeur car il est encore mieux et plus spacieux en vrai ! La place de parking est super pratique et le coin est très calme et charmant avec quelques petites boulangeries sympathiques à proximité ! Marie Noelle a su répondre à toutes nos questions avec gentillesse et est très compréhensive pour les horaires d'arrivée ! Nous recommandons ! 👌

Nous avons été reçu par Valérie et Nigel très chaleureusement malgré notre gros retard . C est un lieu Extraordinaire.D ‘un charme incroyable. Ultra confortable, accueillant, calme , vaste . Tout simplement une vraie pépite . Valérie nous a permis de passer un week-end extraordinaire pour une occasion chère à nos Cœurs . Merci Valérie et Nigel

We were met by his beautiful dogs on arrival making us feeling immediately welcome, followed by Gideon who welcomed us like we were part of the family. Gideon and his wife couldn’t have done enough, always being around for a chat, or just for a quick wave and smile. This truly is the most peaceful and beautiful setting to escape the reality of city life. The house its self was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and exposed original brick, they have got the perfect balance of rustics and contemporary. We couldn’t fault a thing and whoever gets to stay here next, is sure to love it just as much as we did!

C'est vraiment un endroit charmant. Comme si vous étiez Peau d'âne dans sa petite maisonnette. En bien mieux équipé évidemment. C'est aussi Disneyland pour les chiens. Valentin et Pauline sont charmant ce qui ne gâche rien. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

If you prefer, a real quality home, spotless in its entirety , quiet , beautiful very large garden, you will need a car , but if you want This type of property that’s just not the norm, it’s got everything you need , Isabelle is on the ball if needed, But things really are home from home , Sadly the birds beat us to the cherries, ! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and could easily have stayed longer. The place was perfect, fantastic pool, great countryside and fab location for day trips. Mark and Elaine were the perfect hosts, all in all a great place!

The gîte is set in the peaceful and unspoilt village of Chatenet. Linda and Claude couldn’t have been more kind or welcoming. We were travelling with our 4-month-old baby, and they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease. The gîte was cosy, well-equipped, and felt like a real home from home. A lovely touch was being offered fresh fruit and vegetables from their garden – such genuine generosity. We enjoyed peaceful morning walks through the surrounding countryside and wished we had more time to relax and enjoy the beautiful gîte and pool, which overlooks rolling hills. It was our first family trip, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We left already thinking about our next visit. We honestly couldn’t recommend this place more.

Nous avons passé 3 excellentes nuits dans le logement. Il correspondait parfaitement aux photos et à nos attentes. Les terrasses privatives sont très spacieuses et offrent un point de vue superbe et paisible. Le poêle à bois chauffe très bien, et la cuisine est très bien équipée. De plus Lesley avait pris soin de nous laisser un panier de bienvenue, ainsi que diverses choses comme du sucre et du café au cas où nous en aurions eu besoin. Nous avons très bien dormi et profité du lieu calme pendant notre séjour. Merci encore pour l'accueil.

This is a totally beautiful gitte that is even better in the flesh than the photo's. A super tasteful space with everything you need. Nice and private with a delightful courtyard for eating or sitting in the sun. Unfortunately it was too cold to swim but the pool area was so pretty. It was so relaxing.. Its very near for many coastal places to visit, Royan being our favourite with its amazing architecture. The host Pierric was very charming and helpful and made us feel at home. I would definitely recommend this beautiful place and hopefully will return at some point.

Our stay was great! Derk and his wife were very attentive and warm hosts, who welcome us and explained all about the region. The house corresponds to the pictures: it is beautiful, comfortable and cozy, has all the needed appliances for a pleasant stay in the countryside. Bathroom and shower are really good quality, living room extremely comfortable with a nice woodfire and the TV is actually larger than you can tell from the pictures. The garden is the highlight of the house, with a stunning view and a relaxing outside area for meals. The villages in the region are nice, with little shops, restaurants and sight seeing. Great recommendation for relaxing vacations! We would definitely like to stay in the Gite again in the future :) (and we love Ramsi, the golden retriever). Thank you Derk and family, we had a great time!

Jacqueline et Jean Michel nous ont accueillis très chaleureusement. Le logement se trouve dans un village très calme et le terrain privatif est très grand et joliment arboré. Tranquillité assurée. La petite ville de Segonzac est à moins de 5km : petit supermarché, station d’essence, etc. Nous y recommandons La Maison de la Grande Champagne, un magasin regroupant une vingtaine de producteurs locaux de Pineau et de Cognac.

Charmant cottage spacieux, très bien équipé et lumineux, la décoration est raffinée. Nous avons aussi apprécié la terrasse cosy et le parking juste devant la porte. Filipe et son épouse sont des hôtes extrêmement gentils et disponibles. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
