We enjoyed our visit with our family over New Year for three nights. Luis was a very helpful host and always responded quickly to any questions. We appreciated the freshly baked cake on arrival and on the second morning some treats from the bakery. We particularly enjoyed seeing the fireworks from the exclusive resort of the opposite side of the river for New Year. We popped open a bottle of bubbles to share on the rooftop terrace with a fabulous view at midnight. Great atmosphere. Would be fun to return during the summer months to enjoy the lovely pool.

A dona Dulce e o esposo são excelentes pessoas e sempre prontos ajudar . Apresentaram-nós a quinta e os animais . Os animais são fenomenais, todos eles . La villa est incroyable ! Nombreuses chambres avec rangements et assez d’espace. Nombreuses salles de bains. Salon et salle à manger très spacieuses. La cuisine est équipée de tout ce qu’il faut (machine à café, ustensiles, grille pain etc…) La salle de jeux est un énorme plus pour les jours pluvieux. La piscine est froide, mais parfaite pour se rafraîchir, et une fois dedans elle est très agréable. Nous avons passé de magnifiques vacances dans cette incroyable maison ! Il y a de belles plages fluviales à proximité, de beaux points de vu également. Il faut aimer le calme et la nature car il n’y a pas de grandes villes à moins d’une heure (la plus proches est Coimbra) mais supermarchés à 5 min pour les courses ;) La maison se trouve à 1h30 de Porto et 2h30 de Lisbonne, idéale pour une excursion d’une journée :) Merci à Karen et son conjoint pour l’accueil :) Vous pouvez réserver les yeux fermés !

Our family of 5 loved our stay in the Chalet. It is in such beautiful surroundings overlooking a waterfall & in a great location for many walks as well as nearby local restaurants. The chalet was warm & comfortable with everything we needed. Pedro’s recommendations & local knowledge was really appreciated. Would love to stay again - highly recommend!

When the wildfires created anxiety and uncertainty about our stay in Casa Rustica, Elisabete took care of everything; she provided a safe haven until there was no further risk in the Rossas area. Thank you so much, Elisabete, you did everything to reassure us and make us comfortable. As for Casa Rustica, it's absolutely wonderful - gorgeous pool, Jacuzzi, relaxing living spaces and a well-equipped kitchen; the garden is lush with fruit and there are beautiful views from the balconies. Thanks to Sandra, too, for a great show-around and providing on-the-spot help if needed. In a nutshell, all fab!

Rogerio and his home is fantastic. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The grounds and surrounding area is beautiful. Lots of trees - they harvest cork, beautiful flowers. Great bird-watching. Very easily accessible to Monsanto and nearby sight-seeing but take Rogerio's recommendations on his favorites. Great stay.

Estadia perfeita, sem nada de mal a apontar. Tanto a Sr.a Ana como a Sr.a que nos recebeu foram muito amigáveis, atenciosas e mostraram sempre disponibilidade. Além disso, a casa estava muito bem limpa e corretamente equipada, tem também a varanda com uma vista divinal para a serra. Uma experiência a repetir.

Ricardo y su mujer siempre me atendían bien y la comunicación fluía muy bien. La casa dispòne de un buen sistema de calefacción, en la época que estuvimos era importante. La casa es muy espaciosa tanto en el interior como en el exterior. Muy practica y confortable. Volveremos el año que viene.
