Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, its Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". Cockenzie Studio

Relax in this cosy stylish studio which is an annexe to our 1880 fisherman's cottage in the quaint historic harbour village of Cockenzie, linked with Port Seton - the house is actually located on the battlefield of the Battle of Prestonpans. Five minutes walk to the harbour and local swimming cove and even closer to Cockenzie House - a thriving community hub with beautiful gardens, a cafe, vintage fairs, live music and much more. The coastal walkway John Muir Way runs through Cockenzie.

Fisherman's Flat Overlooking the Firth Of Forth

Dating back to 1909, and only 9 miles from Edinburgh, this cosy 2 bedroom fisherman's flat has spectacular far-reaching sea views. A perfect base for golfers, families and walkers. Similar to other small fishing villages on the east coast of Scotland, fishing boats still work out of the harbour and can often been seen bringing back the catch from the windows of the flat. Restaurants, pubs, and a supermarket are within walking distance and buses regularly go into Edinburgh from the village.

Relax in our Family Retreat at Seton Sands Holiday Park, a short distance from Edinburgh (Lothian bus No. 26 just a short walk away will take you straight to Princess Street) There are also ample amenities on site as well as a beach across the road to keep you and any kids entertained. Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Explore privately the whole castle and then retire to enjoy your suite rooms. The antique four poster bed, deep roll top bath and open fire evoke earlier times, but are truly comfortable and luxurious. An elegant table is set for breakfast. Peebles is 10 minutes walk away, with a host of shops and restaurants, as well as a museum and award winning chocolatier.

The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.

Furry friends are made most welcome and will enjoy the warmth of the AGA as much as you'll enjoy cooking on it. Close enough to explore Edinburgh and enjoy all that East Lothian has to offer.

Hideaway Cottage

As the name suggest the property is peacefully located in Dirleton which is one of East Lothian's conservation villages, set along the south side of the Forth on the coastal road between Gullane and North Berwick. It is characterised by a large village green surrounded by a maze of pantile houses, historic Dirleton Castle and Dirleton Kirk, two inns and nearby the popular and spectacular Yellowcraig Beach. An excellent base for family holidays.
