Family-friendly vacation rentals in Cobourg

Our hosts were amazing to deal with. Quick to respond, helpful and welcoming. We were able to have a relaxed evening, bbq and enjoy the outdoor hot tub. Everything was well set up and ready to enjoy. The included breakfast was a welcome treat and was very well presented with delicious and fresh options. We are looking forward to our next visit.

What a great spot The Rogers Retreat is! Such cozy spaces inside for family hangouts, and a beautiful view of the lake. We appreciated all the amenities and comfy furniture. It was the perfect backdrop to our cousins' reunion. Chris was a welcoming host - very accessible and great communication. Thanks for everything!

We had a fantastic stay for a long weekend (birthday) getaway. Nice private location with a view. Enjoyed the hot-tub while watching the first snowfall of the season, wood stove and the well stocked kitchen. Host even left some treats for my pup, which she really enjoyed and was very responsive/helpful. Pros: private location, right on the water, kayak/canoe/hot tub for use, well stocked kitchen, responsive host! Cons: (only 1!) mice! My dog could not stop hunting the cabin throughout our stay lol (she is dedicated, like a cat!) , and we did find some droppings on the dishes in the cupboards, before use. Overall - we had a fantastic time. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back soon!

Had a wonderful stay and was able to relax and rejuvenate for a few days. Everything has been thought of and included for a comfortable stay. Really appreciated the jacuzzi tub and sauna. Hope to return in the near future!

Cori has done an amazing job decorating the cottage - it was a very well-kept and well-stocked space. The listing was very accurate and the check-in experience was very smooth. There was lots to do in the area and Cori had also prepared a binder with information detailing activities and attractions nearby. She was also readily available for any questions that we may have had. Thank you for having us as your guests - we're looking forward to coming again in the future!

We are so happy with our stay! The property was beautiful and the amenities were an added bonus. We mainly booked this location because we needed something that was wheelchair accessible and this home absolutely meet all our needs. Door were wide enough for the wheelchair, beds were high so we could get a lift under to make transferring to and from the wheelchair possible. It was also easy to get in and out of the home with a wheelchair. The home was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. There was also great communication before and after our stay. We felt right at home and the location was wonderful for a stay in PEC. We plan to go back again!

It had everything we needed for a comfortable visit, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The farmhouse was exactly what we needed for a quick "meet in the middle" get-together with our kids that are now living in Ottawa and Toronto. Denise was an excellent host and the farmhouse has absolutely everything, really. It is the most well equipped Airbnb that we have stayed at. Denise was very accommodating as we had left the birthday cake behind and had to return well after our checkout to retrieve it. It was just too bad we only had the one night!

Even with a series of unfortunate weather events the stay was great! Do and family are responsive and kind and the place was fantastic! We will be back!

We went up the weekend of a fairly big snowstorm and Heidi was very responsive, and really flexible which was a huge help with navigating the weather! She was very proactive about making sure the roads were ploughed and safe to drive, which was much appreciated. A lovely host! The place was beautiful and peaceful and we had a great weekend here, would definitely recommend :)

Sally and the Swan Cove Cottage were incredible! Sally was very responsive and accommodating. The cottage itself was ideal. Due to the loss of my dad in December, I booked on fairly short notice and headed north! The cottage was close to friends so that I could visit with them, or enjoy the peace of the cottage. It being the beginning of January, the porch may not have gotten the use it could’ve, but I loved the option. I arrived very early am, and the cottage was warm and ready. Thank you Sally for an incredible stay!

Trevor’s place was exceptional. It was cozy, had ambience, a stocked kitchen, and beautifully decorated. It was central to going around to local wineries and breweries or driving to Wellington, sandbanks or picton. Trevor was a great host, communication was fast and easy, he was always easy to reach and responsive and able to answer our questions. We will be back!

Alan & Rosalie’s cottage was everything we could have asked for and more ! It was a perfect place to just relax and recharge after a busy fall and Christmas season. We wanted for nothing, it had everything we needed. Alan met us when we arrived and explained where everything was and how it all worked. My wife and I and our two dogs had a wonderful experience. We will most definitely be doing a return visit. If you are looking for a place to getaway and relax this is the place, highly recommend it ! Thank you Alan & Rosalie !

We had a great stay at Thomas' place. He met us at check in, showed us the building, parking and any details we needed to know. He was very responsive, provided early check in, and coordinated parking spots for both our vehicles. The place was very clean and quiet. We would definitely stay again!

The location of the condo is right across from CN Tower as well as Blue Jays stadium. The condo is very clean and up to date. We love the location. Cal was very responsive and a gracious host. He gave some excellent recommendations. Besides the feel at home condo, we loved that fun restaurants and bars were walkable. We will be back!

I don’t even know where to start. Super comfy, super clean, Richard and Susan really love their home and it shows. There’s a calmness and peacefulness as you walk in. My partner and I enjoyed this weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of life. Thank you Richard and Susan for allowing us to unwind this weekend!! Our family of five had a wonderful stay. Very clean and comfortable old stone farmhouse but with modern finishing and amenities. My kids particularly loved the hot tub and we had fun tootling around the local town. Only minutes away from Picton and Bloomfield among others so very convenient location.

Gary & Mina were excellent hosts. They greeted us for check in and where very accommodating. Any questions we had were quickly answered via the AirBNB app. The house was full of character and had lots of things to do indoors and outdoors. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, utensils and kitchen wares. There was a washer/dryer centrally located which was great for towels and the Weber BBQ was in top notch condition. Water toys well maintained (2 kayaks, 1 paddle board, 1 canoe and 1 paddle boat). Pool and hot tub worked great, which was a must for our cottage getaway.

We had an excellent stay at Virginia’s place! Four of us came to Toronto for a concert at the Rodger’s Centre which was just across the street. The unit was quite a bit bigger than I expected! There was plenty of room for all four of us, we never felt crowded. We were able to walk to a huge variety of restaurants and activities. Virginia was beyond kind and welcoming. Super quick to respond and easy to communicate with! I would highly recommend staying with Virginia to anyone coming to Toronto!
