Excellent apartment in beautiful village in perfect location to tour Connemara . Hugh was an excellent host and all his advice proved spot on and very helpful . We will be back and will highly recommend to all .

What a wonderful property and host! As a group of 8 adults we couldn't have asked for a better stay to celebrate a family birthday. The attention to detail in the renovation of this house is evident throughout from the beautiful light filled extension, restoration of the original building and high end furnishings and finishes throughout. It looks even better in real life than the photos. The kitchen and dining area are a fantastic space for communal cooking, drinks and dinners. The living rooms is made extra cosy by the gas fire. All bedrooms have their own individual character, are beautifully appointed and have very comfortable beds. Kate was extremely responsive, helpful and friendly in her communication. Any query was responded to efficiently and effectively- thank you! Located at the edge of the lovely village meant it was peaceful yet the 3 pubs, bakery and shop proximal. Lovely surrounds and Seanbóthar is a stunning walk a short drive away. Highly recommend Poliska House!

The feeling of being in a fishing lodge, both rustic and elegant in a lovely village immersed in a pristine nature , starting from the tap water . Traces of culture and chance if relaxation to detox from modern lifestyle . Friendly locals and pubs and lots to do walking distance, lakes shores, and , within one hour scenic drive to a Caribbean looking beach , had fab dip in the ocean .
