Cheerful 3 - bedroom village bungalow

Ellen LouiseRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We used this as a bolt-hold to visit family and it has great space inside for us with two dogs and a baby. It was well stocked for a baby and everything was clean. The only thing I would say is that the garden is only suitable for very small dogs but not suitable for big dogs. The description says garden enclosed (which it is) but the fence was so short. We had to constantly supervise our dogs out in the garden and couldn’t let them use all of it as they could have easily hopped the fence.

Spacious, stylish, 4bed/3bath/2 Lounge House.

MollieRating, 5 stars3 months ago
My group of friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Gardenstown over new years, in such a private and peaceful location. Alan provided many local recommendations and tips to keep us busy. The house had a great amount of space for all 10 of us to stay comfortably. The photos really don’t do the place justice with so many lovely features. It felt very cozy and home like, with plenty of fireplaces to warm us up and an abundance of bathrooms/ fridges/ living areas to ensure we were all accommodated . The kitchen is also very well stocked with dishes for everyone. Alan was a very friendly and responsive host, being there to introduce us to the house, happy to answer all questions and always available to help. He was also very kind in offering to post our lost items following our stay, and advised us of the best routes home with weather being heavy for our drive back. We recommend the beautiful walk to St John’s kirkyard and exploring the neighbouring seaside towns if you visit!

Had a wonderful time away with friends on a tame Hen weekend. Colin had a hamper of goodies waiting for us upon our arrival which made the stay extra special. Perfect venue for our needs with the major plus of us all having our own room and ensuite shower room. Also very central for things to do around Aberdeen.

Idyllic Mill of Muchalls retreat

RuthRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
House was lovely, clean with lots of space. Host has thoughtfully left basic groceries for us & even fresh fruit. The surroundings were beautiful and brilliant for dogs. Shame that the hot tub was out of action as that was one of the reasons we had booked it.
