I can’t say enough good things about our stay here! Hosts were incredibly kind and hospitality was 10/10. So peaceful out in the countryside but also close to local towns for groceries etc. lots of animals which are always a highlight. Kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals and place was clean. I hope I get to come back to Bart and Tracy’s in the future

Beautiful apartment! really enjoyed our 2 night stay here! Perfect location only a 30 min walk to Doolin village. Both nights we walked into Doolin to listen to music in pubs and have dinner. Felt safe walking home late in the night as Eimear provided hi- vis jackets local taxi numbers were also available but we enjoyed the walk home. Some breakfast items were provided which was a lovely touch. Thank you Eimear and Adam for the lovely stay!

We loved staying in this house! There was plenty of room for our family of four. It was spacious, clean, had everything we needed, and was easy to find with Marion’s directions. I appreciated the extensive instructions for the appliances and specific instructions on where to find anything we might need. The privacy and beautiful views were wonderful and we hated to leave!! 10/10 I’d definitely stay here again!!

Big Sky Island Hideaway

Órla's cabin on the outskirts of the village is a little gem. Beautiful views of the inlet. Nice, covered veranda to take in the scenery. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans and utensils. Electric shower, plenty of hot water and strong flow. Bedroom is spacious with lots of storage. Bed itslef is very comfortable. WiFi is solid. TV in the living room has HDMI if you want to cast/firestick/roku. We really enjoyed the array of books, ranging from fact, local lore, easy fiction, kids, culinary, sci-fi etc. Órla left very clear instructions as to access, wifi, local amenities etc Ideal space if you're looking to explore the island and come back to a cosy, secluded haven.

Spiddal, near Galway. On the Wild Atlantic Way.

KathleenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I can't recommend Redmond and Sheila's place enough. It sits on the edge of the beautiful Galway Bay, and the daily view of the water, the quiet setting, and the delightful town of Spiddal is just a five-minute walk away. It feels like a welcoming family home with the intimacy and graciousness of a place well-loved and respected by its owners. A fully stocked kitchen, cozy setting, and furnishings, and comprehensive area recommendations from Redmond made this property so welcoming that we wanted to stay forever. Redmond was very responsive with all of our questions, and we felt like we were honored family friends coming to stay. It was one of our favorite Airbnb's of all time, and we would definitely stay here again!

1843 restored stone cottage beside Galway Bay

Helen and Ronan are everything you could hope for in hosts—exceptionally communicative, helpful, and incredibly accommodating. The personal touches and thoughtful local recommendations made a world of difference. We dined at Fawn, a nearby restaurant they suggested, and the food was absolutely divine. I even got to meet the local horse on arrival, which added a charming touch to the experience. If I’m ever in the area again, I’d return in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay!

Red Island House, on the shore of Lough Mask

SilkeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A fantastic location with a view in every direction, each very special and therefore never boring. A good starting point for several (hiking) tours. Get tips on this too. Sun (if it shines) from morning to evening on or in the house. We have already decided after a few days that we want to come back next year. To relax, enjoy and unwind, one of the best accommodations I know. And don't worry about the access, it's really absolutely doable and doesn't require a special car or a special driver.

We enjoyed our 5 night stay at Marie's very much! Could have stayed longer. Everything was clean, the beds very comfortable. It's a little ways outside of Westport so it's a perfect combination of quiet and peaceful but still with plenty to do close by. We spent lots of time in the living room just enjoying the amazing view. Kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. Hopefully we can stay again one day!

The Mallards

SueRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Mary was a very welcoming host- she was responsive, friendly and easy to communicate with, and left a wonderful welcome pack - including her delicious homemade granola. Mary was also very welcoming to our son and his wife who managed to fit in staying with us during part of our week's stay (they slept on a futon). They loved the place too! The flat is just outside Kinvara which is a lovely village, where, on Mary's recommendation, we listened to live trad Irish music and ate pizza one night. It's a great place from which to explore the burren (don't miss the lovely Russell Gallery and the nearby Flaggy Shore!). Thank you Mary!

Village annex apartment - Cornamona, Connemara

Svenja Rating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Olivia sent us pictures of the house the day before arrival and detailed explanations of how to find the house, where the key box is and so on. When we arrived, we were totally thrilled with the apartment from the first moment, it was furnished exactly as described. Very nice, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom happened to be exactly like our home decorating style. This immediately gave us a "feeling of home." The apartment was above average well equipped. There were several varieties of tea, shower gels, shampoo, conditioner - hand soap from Rituals, there were adapter plugs & hairspray, in addition a nice cozy wool blanket. We got to know Olivia personally on the day of departure and had a very pleasant and pleasant conversation with her. We would recommend the apartment and Olivia as a landlady at any time. We really enjoyed our time there.

Me, my cousin and his two young sons stayed at Gail and Antoine's house in Garmna, right in the middle of the islands in Connemara. We had a warm welcome from the first day not only from Gail and Antoine but also from their neighbors. The house was veryclean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The bedrooms were to a high standard and the place was veryconvenient for the fishery, our reason for coming. Antoine was extremely generous with his time and advice. We loved the pool table in the evening. The atmosphere was always relaxed and welcoming. I highly recommend anyone who would like a trulyIrish experience in beautiful Connemara.
