Sean's cottage was cozy, comfortable, and roomy. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals and the beds were unbelievably comfy. Both are important when staying somewhere for a while! There was a bit of noise from traffic along the road but after a while, we didn't even notice anymore. Sean was very responsive and kind; when one of the shower drains was clogged, he came over within five minutes to fix it. He also made sure the fireplace was well stocked with turf! We liked the location overall- it's in the country, so we had some lovely drives, but close enough to several towns for food, shopping, and sites to visit in County Roscommon and County Galway.

We were more than satisfied with the accommodation. We were greeted by horses and the extremely sweet little dog Minnie, and then by delicious scones in the apartment. The area is beautiful and we went on several day trips to Connemara National Park, Burren National Park, the Aran Islands/Cliffs of Moher and Galway. What's more, the area was just perfect for us and the children. My daughters loved feeding the horses and playing with Minnie the dog. Or, if it rains a little, there is additional room for playing, which is equipped with some toys, table tennis, etc. Maura responded quickly to minor problems and helped us out, and was generally very accommodating. If we ever visit Ireland again, we will definitely stop by here again.

Loads of added extras. Loads of towel I’m bedrooms, extras for when using the water sports. Shower gel etc in all bedrooms. Toys available for children, air hockey as well. There where 2 lovely horses that we where able to go to each day, 2 llamas and some deer. Lake was beautiful. Very near ballinrobe for food shopping and eating out. Lovely doughs left for us on arrival the washing machine and tumble dryer where an excellent bonus. BBQ available but due to ager we didn’t see. Definitely recommend this lovely family accommodation. Plenty of parking as well.

The rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated — every detail made us feel right at home. We especially appreciated the nice toiletries, fully stocked kitchen, and the thoughtful welcome gifts. Our family truly loved our time there and created some wonderful memories. We hope to return someday!

Great place in a great location! Really spacious and was easy to get into and settle in! Located perfectly to walk to all the stuff to do in the area and the host was extremely helpful to give tips and help on anything around!

We really enjoyed our stay, the house has everything you needed and lots of lovely touches throughout the house. It was very cosy and peaceful, located in a gorgeous part of Connemara. I would highly recommend a stay. Orlagh was friendly, helpful and responsive.

Alison's lovely house exceeded our expectations. It is really beautiful, with a calm atmosphere and very quiet. It's also exceptionally well equipped. It's just a three minute walk out of the town set amongst woods and a river estuary. Idyllic. We would have happily stayed longer. You don't have to travel far to find swimming beaches or mountains so it's ideal if you have had enough of driving! We took folding bikes, but you can also rent bikes in the town. A perfect stay.

Amazing as always! Mayo has truly become our sweet home in Doohooma, and staying here just makes it feel even more special every time. The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed (as usual). A big shoutout for the new dryer – such a great upgrade, and it honestly made me even happier this time around! It’s just those little thoughtful touches that make this place perfect. We absolutely love staying here and will always come back. Thankkkkk uuuu so much again! ❤️

We’ve had a lovely stay in the A Frame. It’s very peaceful and private with good facilities. Did lots of exploring in the area including a wonderful dawn swim at Old Head for the summer solstice.

Lovely location surrounded by Connemara hills. We had a great long weekend escape. The place is about 10 minutes walk to the shop, walkable distance to the beach. Great location for exploring different parts of Connemara!

Ideal for couples with their furry friend. Very well equipped and extremely clean. Loretta is very helpfull and there if you need her. Perfect base for exploring connamara. Highly recommend. Dave and Angela...and Faye.

beautifull peacefull and quite area to stay,house just perfect and walking distance to town resturant and Clifden Festival, House could do with just a few essential extras for Guests like Coat Hangers in Hall,Small Dressing Tables with Mirrors in bedrooms for us ladies to do makeup etc

We had an amazing stay at Hazel Hut. The views on Croagh Patrick were stunning and the area was so nice and quiet. The hut also had very good storage options for us to put away our clothes and store away the bags we brought. My 1 tip would be to bring mosquito /bug spray as they did come out after the rain.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Lovely views and so peaceful. House was perfect for us - clean and well equipped. The area is so beautiful, with great walks and beaches nearby. Excellent food at Sweet Nothings and at local pubs. Michael was extremely friendly and helpful. Hope to be back.

We had a wonderful couple of days at Janet's apartment. very clean, private and perfectly situated in beautiful surroundings. Would highly recommend and we will be back sometime in the future.

Irene, the house manager, was an absolute joy to communicate with. Always prompt and accommodating, she ensured that our stay was seamless and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a secluded escape to truly appreciate the rugged charm of Connemara, Hawthorn House is an exceptional choice. We left feeling refreshed and connected to the beauty of Ireland’s west. Highly recommended!

I could not recommend John’s house highly enough. We stayed here for two nights as a group of 12 and we wish we could have stayed for a week. The house is beautiful beyond belief, so spacious and fully equipped with everything you could think of to cater for big groups. The hot tub and bar are wonderful additions to an already amazing house. Even though we didn’t have perfect weather we still enjoyed making the most of the hot tub. The house is even more impressive in person than how it looks in photos and the view surrounding it is breathtaking. It’s a real retreat and the perfect place to gather with friends/ family. Only a ten minute drive to Mulranny town and beach, but you probably won’t want to leave the house! An incredible stay, thank you so much to John and Sharon who were always so helpful and responsive to messages. I hope we’ll be back again soon!

The place is very peaceful, good vibes and great for someone who's looking for some quiet days. It was my birthday and I and my boyfriend had a great time there. The place was very clean, and the hot tube was great! Thanks for the amazing experience. We would highly recommend the place and we would love to be back! 😃

Forest View Cabin is absolutely gorgeous. From before we even arrived Laura was communicating with us about check in etc, really great host and kindly let us have a late check out. The cabin itself is so cosy, we loved the fire. The hot tub was such a treat. So private and peaceful. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Wow, what an amazing magical place. Felt like we were in a fairyland. The attention to detail with everything in this beautiful hideaway made it all the more special. You will keep finding special pieces that were obviously picked out with love. Carmel and her husband were fantastic. The "wagon" and bathroom are completely outfitted with everything you need. The tub is a fantastic additon and we spent a lot of time in it. Cant recommend this place enough
