Unique living space attached to our covered riding arena. Approx 1500 sf area with plenty of parking in a very rural area close to hiking and swimming or rock climbing at Hanging Rock State Park, and Pilot Knob, as well as floating the Dan River or just relaxing watching the horses play in the paddock, enjoying roasting hot dogs or smores over the fire pit. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). Rick and Pat’s house was amazing! We loved every second of it, from the large peaceful yard filled with deer, to the outside fire pit, comfy beds and super clean, lovely house! Loved our whole vacation and didn’t want to leave. Owners are very personable and communicative (quick to respond)We can’t wait to come back again to this amazing home! This home was absolutely beautiful. You felt right at home the moment you walk in! The house is extremely clean. Kitchen is well stocked. Bathrooms were so nice. Plenty of plush towels and wash clothes provided. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner in both showers. Beds were super comfortable. The day beds were great for our little ones. The outdoor living space was great!! The views are breathtaking!! Lanni is so sweet. We didn’t have any issues but did text her when we arrived and checked out and she immediately responded. Hanging Rock Park is so close if you like to hike, fish, and swim. We will definitely go back. This place was perfect for our family!!

Great place with a stunning view. Very peaceful and lots to do. I rented cabin for end of year 2024-25 with my family and had a great time! We walked to the nearby creek & used the firepit, swings & did a lil exploring in the area. Wei was a great host, very attentive & communicative. I highly recommend this place.

What an amazing stay! Such a cozy cabin and warm ambience. From cozying up inside by the fire to sipping coffee on the porch it was the relaxing stay that I so desperately needed. The porch is expansive and has extremely comfortable rockers, the bed upstairs with the soft lighting at night is romantic and relaxing, and the property was really enjoyable to walk around. The host was friendly and very responsive. I had a wonderful time with my fur babies and would definitely come back.

Very peaceful little place, screened porch overlooking water was great to enjoy every morning and evening. Had basic necessities, and host was very responsive and proactive. Hiking trails across the house were convenient for walks, since we wanted to have peaceful spring break in nature away from city and noise. Kids enjoyed fishing in the river.

If you're looking for views from heaven this is the place! Its breathtaking. Spacious, quiet, and picturesque. House is nestled between neighbors and you'd never know. Wildlife and wilderness meets quaint neighborhood... but at a golf resort. Only downfall is if you dont get groceries prior to arrival,you're out of luck during winter since your on the top of the mountain. Its about 20 to 30min down either direction for them (I shopped on the way in). Things to do are also sparse at this time of year. But, that wasn't the point for our trip, it was to "disappear" for a few days. Bryan was an awesome host. He kept intouch throughout the entire process. I had to make adjustments to my initial occupancy number and cut our trip short a day due to weather related precautions. He was accommodating for each request. Couldn't have had a better host. He invited us back and also made us aware he had other properties on the same resort. All around pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be back!

We spent a wonderful Easter weekend at Ellison's place in Meadows of Dan and couldn't have asked for a more peaceful and relaxing stay. Ellison was super flexible when we had to initially cancel the visit but then ended up rebooking along with a last minute reservation change to both come a day earlier and stay another night longer. The chalet was beautifully decorated and clean up on arrival and all amenities were as listed, including a plentiful number of towels and and already prefilled Brita dispenser and ice trays. The neighborhood was super quiet and felt really private for the entire long weekend. I really enjoyed the office space in the upstairs loft with the monitor and usb-C cable that made working remotely with two monitors a breeze. We'll definitely stay here again next time my partner and I visit his hometown!
