Incredibly beautiful surroundings, right on the lake. Private and plenty to do with lake watching, kayaking and walking. The house was spotless, simple, comfortable and welcoming, great for a family of four. The fireplace and windows in the main bedroom were gorgeous. Kara and Serge were very friendly and helpful. We’ll be going again.

We had a great stay. Host met us at the door and showed us around. We two adults, two kids, and a dog and we had room to spare. Kitchen was very well equipped, easy street parking right in front, and though no washer the laundromat was right across the street. Easy walk to cute downtown and the river too. Michael was very communicative and made sure we had a great time. For sure would stay again.

Tim's place is beautiful and great for a family or a small group of friends. the views are breathtaking and aside from 1 neighbour(who was not there the whole time) it is a very private location. the place was spotless clean when we arrived!! we had some issues with sleeping arrangements as we got extremely unlucky with the weather while we stayed and were hit with cold fronts and rain. Was way too cold to sleep in the bunkie and unfortunatley there is no heating in there. I would say 6 people max to reach max comfortability in this cottage. We will definitely be back here with a smaller group and no baby!

Beautiful home, kitchen was perfectly appointed, great for a large group that enjoy cooking. Location was great for the wine lover, and hobby foodie. Would definitely stay in this area again.

It is a wonderful place and Kyle was always responsive with very good detailed instructions. The house was very clean and organized. Would like to stay again sometime in the future when we could enjoy the lake and some swimming.

This place was spacious & beautiful! The outside area & dock was perfect for all of us! The kitchen was stocked w/ many plates, pots & pans. Would definitely come back !!

The waterfront is beautiful, with a well-kept fire pit and a peaceful lake that felt private during the week. We kayaked and canoed around the lake several times, enjoying the wildlife—turtles, herons, ducks, loons, and frogs. The fire pit was perfectly placed for sunset views, with plenty of kindling and wood. The BBQ worked great, and Verona offered everything we needed, including good food at Muddy Waters Restaurant and treats at a local bakery and Kawartha ice cream shop. We loved staying in this perfectly located, tastefully decorated, well-appointed home. Everything is well done from the comfortable beds and soft linens in the bedrooms to the colorful pillows and throws on the front porch.

We really enjoyed our getaway at Jessica’s place. The cottage was the perfect size for two people, and the hot tub/sauna/cold plunge experience was just what we needed. We also appreciated all the nice touches around the house, like the little chocolates and bottle of wine. There are two bathrooms, a flushing toilet for #1 and a composting toilet for #2. The toilet for #2 is outside but attached to the house, and was much nicer than we anticipated. The owners are also around the property every day to work in their shop/feed their chickens so something to be aware of for privacy. We still felt like it was private because of the fencing that blocks the hot tub area. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend staying here!
