We loved our stay at this charming farm! The beauty and tranquility of this place is beyond words. The houses on the farm are beautifully decorated and the host was super welcoming. The highlight of our stay was definitely the chance to disconnect from daily life and simply enjoy nature. We visited the nearby villages and hiked to the top of the Serra da Estrela, which was an unforgettable experience. We spent our days exploring the vast lands and admiring the stunning views of the surrounding countryside. In the evenings, we kicked back in the hammocks, enjoying the mountain breeze and the sound of birds chirping in the distance. The local cheese was a real treat, it was one of the tastiest cheeses I've ever had! All in all, our stay at this farm was an experience we will never forget. We returned home feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I would highly recommend this farm to anyone looking for a natural getaway. Thank you so much for sharing your little slice of paradise with us!

A wonderful stay to enjoy as a couple and in an ideal environment for hiking routes. The little house has everything you need and is extremely comfortable. It will be the first option if we decide to come back in the Jerte area.

Great place in beautiful surroundings. Everything we needed for a 1 night stay. There are steps and low ceiling heights in places may be difficult for someone with mobility issues.

Our stay at Miguel's apartment was perfect, everything looked exactly like the pictures! The location was perfect as it was a short walk into the main/central area of the city and was close to both the Puente Romano and Puente Enrique Estevan (for beautiful views of the cathedral especially at sunset). Miguel's building manager Juan was incredible and met us at the door and answered any questions we had about the area and the apartment. We had an amazing stay and would 1000% stay here again when we make our return to Salamanca!

Juana's place is ideal for those looking to visit the picturesque village of La Alverca, as it is very close, allowing you to go out to the village on foot. Despite being so close, we feel in a perfectly private and charming place in a corner of nature and tranquility. I advise anyone who wants to visit the area or just spend a few days in the middle of nature!

We had a wonderful stay at Oscar’s beautiful house. It’s in a perfect location right by the river, and the house is enormous, much bigger than we anticipated. The bonus was the huge garden which was perfect for relaxing on sunny mornings. Oscar was super communicative and flexible with us and we appreciated being able to bring our dogs. Thanks again Oscar!

Rosa is a very friendly host, who explained everything very well. He's available in case you need anything and responds very quickly to messages. The apartment is spacious and is located in a quiet area, 15 minutes from downtown. For the comfort of guests, everything necessary is left in the kitchen and bathrooms for your convenience. We had a small problem when we arrived, but Rosa has more than solved it. Thank you.

It was an amazing experience! Raquel is very friendly and gave us a lot of advice. The house is excellent, everything is very clean, new, smells good and is very well cared for. The kitchen and utensils are in excellent condition. The heater works well. The shower is very good! The mattress and sheets were great and there were lower and higher pillows (in the room). I 100% recommend it!

Peace by the water (at the end of the world) The accommodation could only be found after a telephone inquiry, although there are only a few buildings in the village. This is VERY secluded, if you want to stay longer, you should shop well. It only had two cafes and one (closed) restaurant there. The nearest shop is about a 1/2 hour drive away. However, it would also be possible to travel by train. However, it is fantastically beautiful right on the river and the traffic on ships, trains and cars can almost be counted. I particularly liked the surroundings with the many flowers, the access to the water and the many seating and lounging options outdoors, both in the shade and in the sun. If you want to take a boat trip, you don't need to drive away, the host also does such. You can also rent boats from him, tips for fishing were also provided. The accommodation is worth its price, is well equipped and has parking in the shade. Thank you to everyone

Amazing location with incredible views. Beautiful property with great interior design and well chosen artwork, sympathetic to the original school. Thanks to Tania and Carla for the care and attention and for the outstanding breakfast each day. And for doing a shop for us on the first day before our arrival. We would definitely recommend the chef at home meal. Great food and service by the guys with traditional Portuguese dishes on offer. Fantastic stay; we didn’t want to leave….ever! Outstanding! The house is as it appears in the photos. Although it's secluded from everything and that gives you a lot of privacy, access is extremely easy and direct. It has everything you need to spend the best stay. We went in cold weather and couldn't enjoy the pool, but we were able to enjoy the fireplace and the rest of the garden. In the patio there are chickens, they do not bother but it is a detail to keep in mind if you go with a dog. Soledad has been very kind and attentive all the time, she gave us many facilities and received us on the day of arrival to explain certain details of the house to us. All in all, it was a nice experience.

I can't say enough about how incredible this Airbnb was, Carla and her property were so beyond expectations. My family and I felt extremely comfortable there, it is remote but absolutely beautiful. We were not able to use the pool, because the weather was a little bit cold. I jumped in for like 20 minutes and even though it was cold it was very nice. Carla was so communicative the entire time we were there, she made lots of helpful suggestions and helped us to book a tour around the Douro Valley and surrounding areas. She and a friend also cooked us breakfast every morning, which was delicious and helped us to start our day. 10 out of 10, I would absolutely return.
