Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Citrus Heights

There aren’t enough words or enough space to say how amazing this Airbnb is and how perfect our stay was. We came for a very important event in our lives and needed a peaceful, quiet, private and comfortable house, ideally walkable and nearby shops. Oh boy how it delivered! Julie Ann and Homer were absolute perfect hosts, responsive and thoughtful. They made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The place is a true sanctuary, just like the ad says, it’s beautiful, well decorated, clean, comfortable, so quiet and in the middle of nature. I know that they are also working on offering experiences which I think will work great with the place. We were so comfortable that we were sad to leave and go home! We had a 6 weeks stay and it was a great fit for long term, we could have stayed much longer. It would work well for a weekend stay as well, but be warned you will never want to leave! This is our third time staying at this place. Cleaning and well furnished. Enough rooms and beds for 3 families. Nice backyard! We will definitely come back again if we are in town. Thanks for hosting us!

We were so pleased with this house. It was beautiful inside. The front entrance was as nice as it showed on the flyer. We were able to use the pool, probably one day because of family gatherings, but the backyard was wonderful. All three bedrooms were beautiful. Everything was spotless the kitchenwas well stocked with anything you would need to cook with. It was in a wonderful location of Carmichael and very close to different restaurants and Hoffman Park was a wonderful area.

The home was super comfortable! The outdoor space was one of my favorite parts! Tons of hummingbirds to see! Having a large group like I did the house was spacious and full of potential to host. There were several TV's and lounge areas it was a great get away. So close to Folsom Lake, and San Francisco!

It was a lovely home to stay in, very clean, and had all the basics you would need in a shirt vacation. Its definitely set up to expect children with the room of bunk beds and an extra twin bed and a playground in the backyard. The backyard was a nice area to hang ojt and have coffee. The hot tub is either set so you cant get too hot, so it kinda felt like i was in a bath, not really a hot tub. It would be great if it could get appropriately "hot-tub" hot. But there were plenty of towels both for the hot tub and in the bathrooms, and we really appreciated access to the washer and dryer. Overall, great stay, very clean and picture accurate.

Christina’s home was spacious and comfortable for our family of five. The living room and the out door area were great spaces to hang with the family. The kitchen had all the essentials and the beds were comfortable. We had a great stay and would definitely stay there again next time we are in the area. Thanks Christina for being responsive, proactive in providing information and agreeable to a late check out!

Denisa was a great host and the home had the best touches!! The backyard was our favorite as the kids amenities were amazing for my granddaughters to play on. She had let us know they had sprayed for bugs so a few dead bugs here and there were no big deal as we were expecting that and we used to live in the area we know what to expect. The front yard and backyard was full of flowers and just an all around beautiful place. When we go to Sacramento again we will stay there for sure.

Overall, this place was seriously great—definitely more pros than cons. The price was fantastic, and the owner was incredibly easy to work with—super responsive, even replying to a message at 1 a.m.! Everything upstairs was spotless and very well kept. There were just a few minor cleanliness issues. Each time we arrived, there were a handful of flies in the house and a lingering smell, especially noticeable in the kitchen. The garage trash can was pretty gross, so I gave it a quick rinse—not a huge deal. The downstairs floors could’ve used a deeper clean, as they felt a bit dirty. Also, two of the arcade machines upstairs didn’t really work. Even with those small things, I’d still give it a solid 4.5 stars. The main reason for not giving a full 5 is the kitchen—it just needed a bit more attention, especially the counters. If the cleaning crew focused a little more on the details, this would easily be a five-star stay. Still, it was an awesome experience overall!

Eddy is an awesome guy. His apartment is really nice and has all the amenities very very clean there’s a pool there there’s a gym it’s close to lots of great stuff in Folsom and it’s very safe there’s a gate and there’s lots of nice neighbors… I also like the way Eddy does business he’s not excessive with rules we communicate on things and he’s flexible and to me that’s really important and having a host… I would definitely come back there again and look forward to it thanks for the great stay Eddy!

Absolutely loved this stay! The place was so cozy and clean! I would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Sacramento! :)

My Host is a VERY GOOD Host, she always responds VERY quickly, I would recommend this place, BUT after we leave.

I would return. Notable things are the shower is very cool. Also, my stay happened to be over a very hot span of days. The unit has some vents, but I didn’t see a thermostat anywhere. There were a couple of fans and it stayed cool. But not ice cold. Also, unless I missed there is no coffee maker, but there is a French press, I believe.

We stayed here for almost a month while we did a trial in downtown Sacramento. The location is great: quick, easy route to downtown and just a block away from the shipping mall and several good restaurants. The apartment is comfortable with all amenities. Traci was very easy to work with and was responsive to my emails. There is also a designated covered parking place for the unit.

Our stay was very nice the home is great absolutely amazing we definitely enjoyed our stay at Julia place..if we ever get to go back soon and it’s still available for us to stay there we will definitely book her house again..highly recommended you to book this Airbnb if you ho to a family vacation or reunion in Elk Grove Sacramento Cali..thank you so much Julia🫶🏼

Would overall give a 4.5. House is spacious, in a quiet neighborhood, not far from downtown. Showers are good and beds are comfy. Taking down half star because it's a bit sparsely furnished: it has beds for 12, but dining table for 8, living room for 8, outside deck with seating for 6... Even our group of 9 required someone to be always be carrying 1 of the 2 bar stools if we wanted to sit together (made for an uncomfortable meal...). Not sure how 12 would eat there. Other than that, all was great, the host was flexible, the kitchen well equipped and everything was super clean.

Our stay was fantastic for a weekend getaway. You are 10-15 minutes away from a number of wineries and restaurants, with the benefits of having your own private space to relax and enjoy the countryside. Our host was extremely responsive and attentive to any questions or needs we had, and made our stay more than comfortable. Absolutely would recommend the listing to anyone else, and would come back to stay myself.

Jimmy was an awesome host and communicated promptly! The house was spacious and very clean.

Looks exactly as pictured and Steve was always nearby if we needed help figuring anything out with the house. It is a very large home with a beautiful view. Used the hot tub and pellet stove almost every night. It was the perfect escape for the holidays with our family. Enough space that family could rest while sharing the home with an infant.

This was our fourth stay at Brendan’s house. It is my our family’s favorite AirBnb to rent. The house, pool house, pool and fishing pond are major highlights for us. The grandkids love swimming in the pool all afternoon and go fishing early in the morning and after dinner. The house, pool house and grounds are very clean and comfortable. Staying there is both fun and relaxing. We will be back for our fifth visit next year!

We loved the pool, yard and large kitchen for our family. Sayed was super responsive and friendly.

Best part was the kitchen was huge. Helped us with cooking next to each other but overall great place hopefully to come out during the summer, but definitely will book for next Christmas.
