We arrived slightly earlier than we had expected, but were shown in and welcomed. The place is very private and because of its elevation looks out across Brixham where the colourful houses on the other side of the harbour are a constant reminder that you are on holiday. The town is very easy to access if you can manage many steps, and within 5 mins you are at the harbour with its working fishing boats, tour boats and children crabbing alongside the marina. Good quality restaurants, including many fish and chips shops are all within a short walking distance, as well as specialist fish restaurants and a superb tapas bar. If you want to get away from the crowds the SW Coastal Path goes through Brixham from which the wildlife and views are spectacular. We had a very enjoyable weekend in a peaceful but convenient spot that was very clean, and welcoming, and Moira generously left us treats to help us have a good time

We had a wonderful Easter weekend at Alan's place. He was generous, helpful, and communicated clearly. The place itself is neat, rightly sized, and easy to locate. The yard is roomy, and the patio furniture is thoughtfully placed for you to soak in the Sun. The kitchen is well equipped with an impressive array of crockery and cooking tools. There are quite a few restaurants in the vicinity. Jacqui's Cafe stands out for its sumptuous all-day breakfast. The folks there are friendly and generous. There's a well-stocked grocery store at a 5-minute walk from the house. Special Mention: My daughter wasn't well, and Alan was kind enough to accommodate us for the check-out. In a nutshell, we had a great time & look forward to going back there again.

A lovely three storey house in a quiet area with easy access to the town of Brixham and its bars and restaurants. We are three generations of a family and there was ample space to accommodate us all with areas where we could meet and eat together but also offered comfortable private spaces when needed. Every part of the house is spotlessly clean and the kitchen has everything needed to cater for a family. A really nice touch was the selection of board games which kept the children amused in the evenings and that we could all play together. The views from the house are stunning and we were treated to some superb sunsets from the balcony.

Loved our stay at Rebecca’s place. Lovely, cosy spot right in the centre of Brixham. Easy to find and check-in. Rebecca was lovely and responsive and had recommendations on where to go locally for food. Close walking distance to all the restaurants, shops, and pubs. Great for a long weekend break to explore Brixham and the surrounding areas!
