This is our 3rd stay at Stewart cottage. It is perfect for us and allows us to go and meet our friends in Beadnell and Anwich. The house is so quiet and has everything you need to cook if you want to and great table to sit in the garden in the sunshine. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Fantastic few days away exploring the beautiful Northumberland coast with our young family and dog. The cottage was a perfect base - the cottage was really well equipped for adults and kids. The cottage has been beautifully refurbished to create a very homely and cosy feel. More spacious than some of the photos suggest! The linen was all top quality and having a secure garden was perfect for our dog. The outside seating area was a bonus and despite being a little chilly still got some good use. Ruth was an excellent host and provided lots of clear instructions on things to do / places to eat. I would definitely recommend this cottage as a great spot to explore the Northumberland coast. We had a lovely stay at the Old Barn for 2 nights. The place was even better than in the pictures, was cosy and always comfortably heated. There were plenty of towels, the bed was very comfortable, the toiletries were lovely and we really appreciated the complementary teas, coffees and biscuits, as well as the paper and kindling provided for the fire. The village itself was lovely and peaceful and the location was great for a walk to the beach and exploring. The guestbook contained an extensive list of recommendations for local pubs and other businesses which we loved. George the host had great communication and made sure check in was very easy for us. Overall we cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you for having us George 😊

Just wow! We’ve just got back from a simply amazing stay at Pam & Richard’s beautiful cottage. Some highlights for us were: 1) the little touches from treats for the dog to home baking, we felt so well looked after 2) the beautiful surroundings, it was so peaceful, no photos can really do it justice 3) the cottage itself, the beds were so comfortable, the bathrooms were spotless and it had everything you need. Pam and Richard were just lovely, and whilst they’re just next door, they didn’t impose at all, we had some brilliant recommendations for walks and food. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you both! x
