House vacation rentals in Christchurch City

Fantastic property. Even better than photos. The pool and outside area was amazing. Every amenity you could think of was there. Added touch of a Christmas tree and a present under it for our the little girl in our group. Would highly recommend.

Amazing place. Beautiful inside and out (pool, patio dining, garden), modern, and immaculate. Everything was high quality from five star bedding to the well equipped kitchen. Hostess Jules was very responsive and friendly…The property sits in a nice neighborhood high above Christchurch, and our favorite part was on the other side (a short drive) - Taylor’s Mistake Beach and the world class walking trail above and past it. I don’t normally write reviews, but this place was really nice.

We had a great stay with our kids. The beds were comfy and warm. The spa was a treat. The place was super clean and really well set. The rooms were really spacious, especially the living room.

What a beautiful home in a unique location. Our three generations gathered from three countries for a lovely 5 days together in Christchurch. The views from all levels of this home are over the top. With high end cookware, two dishwashers and (my personal favorite and usual airbnb pet peeve) sharp knives, we grilled and gathered for “dinners in” every night instead of going out. Great access to governors bay pier and coffee/pizza just a short walk away. Loved this place so much and would return in a heartbeat.

Beautiful, spacious home with peaceful surroundings. Clean and spotless. Highly recommended for family groups. We enjoyed using the pool which was well maintained. Wifi not great but we managed. Thank you allowing us to stay.

I can't thank Louise enough for our wonderful little homely and private cottage in the autumn trees, showering yellow leaves over the garden. Rose Cottage is just pure magic at this time of the year, especially if you are a keen photographer as l am: While it is close to the airport it isn't in the flight path so there's not that much aircraft noise, and it is close to supermarket, coffee shops, etc. Louise and Matthew are wonderful hosts and I highly recommend their property to anyone visiting Christchurch and wanting something just a slightly bit different :)

This place is 5 star! The house is very comfortable with recently renovated kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable beds, and is fully equiped - down to coffee pods for the coffee machine. Reverse cycle A/C (aka 'heat pump') means that the house was easily kept comfortably warm. Wood and kindling are provided for the fireplace. Off street parking is secure (behind an automatic gate). We didn't use the barbeque, the outdoor dining area, spa pool, gym equipment in the garage, or the skateboard ramp.

Wonderful stay at this breathtaking Airbnb. Amazing sea view made every morning feel special. The house itself was comfortable, clean and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Host was incredibly friendly and responsive. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway. Would love to come back anytime!

The house is gorgeous and we felt it was a privilege to stay there. The morning coffee watching the sunrise was a real treat. The attention to details and the extra starter supplies were a real special touch. The house was amazing and opening the Oceanside doors brought nature to us! We will stay again!!!

We would recommend this place. We stayed here for one night as a group of four (if you're coming with four people, two of you will be sleeping on a sofa bed). The host reached out in advance to ask if we wanted the sofa bed prepared, which we confirmed. However, upon arrival, we had to set it up ourselves. We found the necessary bedding and blankets in the bedroom closet, but we weren’t entirely sure if they had been freshly changed, as they seemed slightly used. Despite that, our overall experience was positive and without major issues. The house is within walking distance of a beautiful beach and pier, which we really appreciated. Thank you for the stay!

A great place to stay. The property feels brand new and was very tidy. The location is excellent, just a 1 minute drive to the Palms shopping mall, which made everything super convenient. Francesca was a great host - clear, responsive, and very accommodating to our needs. Highly recommend.

Jess, was probably one of the best hosts I’ve come across! So easy to communicate with and made us feel right at home with little things ahead of us said and did. The house is so beautiful set up and the bed super comfy allowing us to have such good sleeps! And ofcourse the shower is 5 star! Would highly recommend staying at Jess’ house and would certainly stay again when in Chch next!

A nice place to stay near central christchurch, lots of activities nearby for kids etc. would stay here again!

What a diamond! I had to tear myself away from this beautiful, sunny, warm, private, and very comfortable home, with views to die for, all the mod cons, and the spectacular Coastal Walkway right on the doorstep. A week was hardly enough to make the most of this idyllic getaway spot. Thank you, Kelsey! I'll be back.

Enjoyed our stay. Beautiful home with lots of space and amenities. Nice neighborhood to explore by walking with some good restaurants and pubs nearby. We were two couples traveling with our (small) dog and it worked well for us.

Booked this for my dad and husband attending an event nearby. They really enjoyed the space, it was great value and really centrally located. Host was very helpful and friendly throughout, appreciate the proactiveness in her messages on check in day. 10/10

A really enjoyable stay in Sumner! The house was comfortable and well equipped, even for 6 adults. We enjoyed staying a little out of Christchurch, with a great bakery and cafes down the hill near the beach, and the view to enjoy from the house. Yvonne was incredibly responsive and flexible when we needed to move around the dates of our stay. Would recommend :)

Cannot recommend Brendon’s place enough. Absolutely amazing place with all amenities and in fact the most I have ever seen. This place has created long lasting memories and we will be back when we visit family again!

The home was lovely and the amenities were excellent. The location is great for the city and getting around to all the diffrerent places. We are a family of 5 adults and absolutely enjoyed our stay here - would love to stay again
