We stayed at Shirley’s place for a week and we enjoyed our stay. Everything’s nice and tidy. We felt at home, although I was bit worried at first because my husband and my daughter don’t speak English. But it turned out just fine and actually they enjoyed their stay too!

Michel and Jackie's house is beside the sea.The view outside the house is extremely amazing. Michel and Jackie are very warm and friendly. They almost provided everything we needed. The entire house is very clean and tidy, and it's also very convenient to park outside. This is truly the house of our dreams. If we pass by Christchurch next time, we will be back here!

My guest suite consists of a spacious bedroom, a super clean ensuite bathroom, and wardrobe/closet room, all on the ground floor with a separate exterior entrance. The queen sized bed is very comfortable and offers seasonal bedding options. The bathroom is newly renovated with a large wet-room shower, underfloor heating and is designed to be accessible and safe. Breakfast is generous with a range of cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurt, toast spreads and fresh coffee/ tea all served at the table

Grab a coffee and soak in the view of the mountains and the sea. Have a sauna or stroll in the native garden. Visit the Gondola a 5-minute drive. A 10-minute drive to the seaside village of Sumner. Great cafes and restaurants. Movies, shopping at the Tannery a 10-minute drive. The bus stop is a 5-minute walk.

Quiet location only 6 minutes from Airport. Close to public transport and easy walking distance to Hagley Park, Merivale, City and University. Great restaurants, bars, cafes, 2 supermarkets & library within walking distance. Free Wifi connection and free car parking onsite. Our home appeals to groups travelling together & families but if you only require 1 room please contact me . The 2nd B/Room is not let with 1 room booking to ensure privacy and well being for my guests.

We had a wonderful stay at michael and jackie's home. They made us feel right at home and we especially enjoyed the terrace and the fabulous views. breakfasts were yummy and filling with lots of goodies. Beds were comfy and the bathroom was huge. It was a great stay! Highly recommended.

Lovely place in a perfect location. Had a great breakfast while chatting with some fellow travellers. Easy walk to the botanic gardens, museums and shops, yet the B&B feels tucked away and cozy.
