Really cozy little cabin in the mountains with a terrace overlooking a gorge and beautiful mountain views. Totally worth waking up at sunrise to take in the magic – especially with that super cool hot air balloon feature at the edge of the deck. Such a creative touch! The bed was comfy and the cabin has a bathroom. The only thing that worried us a bit were the gaps between the roof and the walls – we were slightly concerned about bugs, but luckily there was no invasion, just a couple of harmless insects. A mosquito net over the bed might be a nice addition, just for peace of mind. Our only little moment of panic? A bat flew in while we were watching a show with the light on 😅. It gave us a bit of a scare but luckily flew right back out, probably through the same gap. They also offer a traditional breakfast, which was tasty. All in all – would recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Nano's! He welcomed us warmly and the room is very nice with its own balcony & bathroom upstairs. We were able to use the kitchen and living room. The view of the mountains and the valley is a highlight, it is also very quiet and we were able to switch off and relax well. In the evening, Nano prepared a delicious dinner with vegetables and herbs from his garden with a lot of love, also vegetarian on request:) We had great conversations and he gave us many tips for activities in the area. We keep Nano as a good friend and our stay at Casa Paz as a very special memory of our trip through Costa Rica!

The place is beautiful, the facilities are just as shown in the photos and much more, and it was impeccable and smelled delicious. It is safe and quiet, there is plenty to do as the house comes with everything you need. Finally, Hazel, an excellent host, from the first contact her response was prompt, in addition to giving us quite a bit of flexibility within what was possible. We will definitely be back here!

Very nice Airbnb full of details and comfort, Hector and everyone in the restaurant are very kind and friendly. It has a very nice view and overall a very good experience.
