Hard to put into words how wonderful this place is! If you’re a Harry Potter fan, you simply have to stay here, it’s perfect. The attention to detail is like nothing I’ve ever seen, me and my little boy absolutely loved it (apart from he was quite scared of the surprise detail under the bed! 😂). 10/10 would recommend to absolutely everyone - you have to stay!!

Great cottage, even in winter we loved the views. It was impeccably cleaned and smelled like fresh laundry and soap when we arrived. Very comfortable bed and couch. Sarah and Jon were very friendly and helpful. Great walks/hikes straight from the cottage.

We stayed at Lee's for four months while my husband was shooting a movie at the nearby bovingdon airfield. This is the perfect location in terms of proximity to the studio. The place is very clean, quiet and peaceful. There are footpaths at the end of the driveway to a sprawling forest, ending at the common where there's a nice pub. You'll need a car here to reach most things, but this was expected in the countryside. The shower is a little small for tall people (my husband), but otherwise the place is wonderful and has absolutely everything you need. Lee even had the place cleaned once a week, included in the fee. A great option for filmmakers who don't mind being in the country.

Great hosts and lovely studio; very clean and well-decorated, we felt just at home! Would love to visit again and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.
