Chandrè was a wonderful host! The house was clean, warm and all instructions for anything needed during our stay were nice and clear. We even had chocolates waiting for us on arrival! We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again.

I had a wonderful stay at Mike’s place in Chilton. The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a perfect visit. The location was peaceful and beautiful. Mike was an outstanding host — very kind, helpful, and welcoming from start to finish. His communication was excellent, and he truly went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely love to come back again. Thank you, Mike, for everything!

A fantastic spot in a tiny quaint village, Francesca’s place was exactly what I was looking for. As a solo female traveller I felt safe next door to their stunning family home, yet the flat was entirely private with its own entrance. It was the perfect base for visiting all the local sights: Walking The Ridgeway, Wayland’s Smithy and White Horse Hill, National Trust properties such as Basildon Park and a little further afield, The Vyne or of course Oxford not that far away either. The area has so many incredibly beautiful little historical villages with heaps of Regency Georgian charm, so lots to explore if you like a drive. Everything about the flat was ideal and well appointed. The fresh milk, tea and coffee were much appreciated. Very comfy bed with quality linen & thick, fluffy (yet crucially absorbent!) towels. Francesca was a helpful, gracious host with quite possibly the nicest handwriting I’ve ever seen! Wish I could have stayed longer! Will be recommending to others!

We had a wonderful stay at Sue’s cottage and would highly recommend it for a peaceful couple of days to completely switch off! The cottage is pristine and very well equipped with excellent cooking gear and a very comfortable bed , and we loved being able to walk on many footpaths right from the doorstep. Sue was super helpful and provided great local recommendations.
