House vacation rentals in Chesham

The lovely home was ideal place to gather for a family wedding. There were 13 of us, including 4 babes and it worked very well. Masses of space inside the house and to be able to sit outside Thoroughly recommend it as a dreamy place to stage, perfect for all generations.

We stayed at the house for weekend of birthday celebrations, the house was great and the garden, pool and surroundings were fabulous. The kitchen area was perfect for gatherings and loads of space to unpack. The beds were really comfortable, maybe an option to have a couple of additional twin beds as the majority were all double. The house was spotless and with the weather being perfect we couldn’t have asked for more. Anne was accommodating in all requests and information about the local area. I would highly recommend this property, we had a fabulous weekend.

Ann’s house was exactly what we were looking for and we had a wonderful stay and felt very much at home. Everything was easy to find and use and the house had all the amenities we needed for a family of 5. The neighborhood was lovely and we loved walking around.

We were greeted well upon arrival. They showed and explained everything. We were also lucky to see beautiful peacocks on the territory. The house corresponds to the description and photos. There is a good sauna, a large pool and there is a passage from a small goubina to a large one. The jacuzzi is also large. Everything is clean and neat, we liked it, the child is delighted, we will definitely come again.🙃

A beautiful barn conversion in lovely grounds with lots of facilities, with thoughtful and helpful hosts. It was a fabulous long weekend and we didn’t need to leave the grounds to be entertained throughout, from in the pool to playing pool, it was all we could ask for.

Our stay was exceptionally great. The train station is close which made our movements easy. The place was very clean. There was easy access to food and groceries. Chioma was very helpful and accommodating. We were able to check in earlier than the scheduled time and leave just as easy. Overall the experience was great and I highly recommend.

We stayed at the Coach House for three nights so all the family could meet up. Everyone enjoyed the space and layout was good for the seven adults and four children. The garden was safe for the children and the location was great for local walks. The kitchen was well equipped to cook for a large number of people. We all had a great stay and would highly recommend.

Folley’s Barn is spacious and very comfortable. A large living and kitchen area with plenty of seating. The hamper was a lovely addition and went down well! We enjoyed a relaxing 3 night stay and would recommend the barn as a base for exploring the surrounding area. We visited Cliveden, Marlow and Henley on Thames. We also enjoyed a meal at the Lions in Bledlow and a takeaway from the Cinnamon Longe.

This is our third stay, as we won’t stay anywhere else! Beautiful roomy immaculately presented house in impeccable stunning grounds. Stephanie is the most conscientious and considerate host who goes above and beyond. The proximity to central London and ease of driving there is a mere 25 minutes to Baker Street. By far, all round, the best Airbnb we have stayed in.

Lovely property. Very tastefully furnished, great size rooms and amazing showers. Kitchen is well equipped and lovely views over the garden. Would recommend to all.

Sarah-Janes place was in a perfect location for visiting the area. Was easy to find with no problem finding street parking each time we returned. Is in walking distance to the train to take a trip into London. Her place was clean and comfortable, plenty of space for us three adults and has kitchen with everything we needed. Bonus having some outdoor space. I would recommend Sarah-Janes place.

We’ve been staying in Airbnb accommodation for the last ten years, and this is up there with one of the best we’ve stayed in. Beautiful place, spotlessly clean,quiet location, powerful hot shower, comfy bed, private secure drive. Easy to find and located in a rural yet not isolated part of the country. Quick response from the proprietors. Within easy reach of some beautiful NT properties, and within the grounds of Stowe castle gardens for a walk from the door. Would highly recommend.

We stayed prior to a flight early the next morning. The property was ideal for us as a family. It was great that our son had his own room. Really well renovated and very clean. Marlon was a very friendly and helpful host. The property is well equipped, from the kitchen to bed linen and various amenities. It was also great access to the airport and made an early morning flight very easy.

It’s hard to know where to start singing the praises of Leticia’s Daffodil Cottage. We are on to our next location, and we all miss this gorgeous, ancient cottage and its *magnificent* gardens. The cottage was comfy and well-appointed inside, with plenty of room for our family group of 7. We were all so sad to leave! The children (ages 7, 2 and 12 months) spent a lot of time exploring the gardens, and my son and I added 45+ new species to our Seek app. So much time, effort and pride have obviously been poured into this paradise, inside and out. My friends back in the States were blown away by the pictures I posted and shared. We loved going into nearby Wendover to purchase food and eat at Shoulder of Mutton. And don’t miss Rumsey’s Chocolaterie. Sumptuous desserts, and affogato was divine. We also spent a lot of time piled onto the big bed in the downstairs bedroom, especially during the rain. So many wonderful family memories were made. A big thank you to Leticia and her team.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and exceeded expectations. It is decorated to a high standard. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything we needed. The beds are both a good size and beds very comfortable. We all slept well. Some people have commented on noise from the road, yes you can hear the traffic but it did not bother us through the night. The garden is enclosed and perfect for eating out in. If you don't want to cook a meal I would recommend the three Crowns just a 5 minute walk up the road. There is also an Indian restaurant a 4 minute walk away. The hosts were very responsive to messages. I would definitely recommend this cottage.

Amelia let us book 4 days instead of 5. The instructions were clear and precise. The house was warm and inviting with a few Xmas decorations which was nice. The house was within walkable distance to the town centre and close to where our family stayed. Amelia let us stay a few extra hours after the initial check out time. Will definitely stay agsin.

We spent an enjoyable 3 weeks in this very old cottage which has been tastefully and sympathetically restored keeping its original low beams and features. Sydenham is a charming Oxfordshire village very close to the Chilterns. It’s an ideal place to explore from. There are lovely walks and views. It’s an easy drive to the market town of Thame and other thatched villages, many of which appear in Midsomer Murders. The Crown opposite provides pub meals and has a lovely garden.

Absolutely loved our stay here, the views are stunning, the master bedroom was very comfortable and the hot tub was brilliant! The lodge had everything we needed and Gogos restaurant is phenomenal right on the doorstep 🙂 just ensure you mention the lodge no so your discount comes off the bill because we didn’t, and booking is essential at weekends for breakfast or dinner, it gets very busy.

Another pleasant stay at Elliot’s, lovely and comfortable place always spotless. Elliot is a great host, very reactive and flexible.

We appreciated our stay a lot! Brand new house! Clean and nice! All equipment works well and there is everything you need for the comfort! Highly recommend!

The area was cosy, super easy to get around. Everything you needed was within a short walk. If you’re flying in from Gatwick the train goes from the airport right to the BnB which was amazing for arriving and leaving.

Nice,well laid out cottage.Clean, tidy, verycomfortable beds.peaceful locations with in easy walking distance to Liverpool cal shops and restaurants. Kitchen well equipped,although could do with a teapot. negatives: lack of nearby free parking.( Parking charges in local CP extortionate ) Decking out the back starting to go in places so only a question of time before someone goes through it. Otherwise would be a nice place to sit out on a sunny day.

This is a lovely little cottage in a beautiful village. Rosie was there to welcome us when we arrived. She couldn’t have been more pleasant and helpful, not just then but for the entire stay. The cottage was perfect for what we needed it for and the local pub does great food and the staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend.
