Nice quiet area. The bed wasn’t that great, but other than that, everything was nice

Looking around Maggie Valley from this house, I don't think there was a better view to be had. This house is well-stocked and comfortable in every way we would have hoped for and Billy and the co-hosts gave us all the info we needed, but the star of the show is the view over the valley to the Blue Ridge Mountains and the stunning sunset. We definitely need to come back and see it in the fall. During our stay, we visited downtown Waynesville (great shops and restaurants ... Frog Level Brewery and The Red Fox were favorites), drove the Blue Ridge Parkway and stopped at many overlooks (Waterrock Knob is a relatively short drive from the house), and we ventured over to the Cherokee and Bryson City to ride the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. The highlight was seeing more than a dozen elk at the Oconaluftee Visitor Center in the morning before the visitor center opened, but we even saw some in a field in Maggie Valley. But mostly we loved sitting on the deck and relaxing in this home!

Excellent location! Home was just as described and like photos. Easily walkable to the downtown restaurants, shopping and activities in Waynesville.

Absolutely amazing! The farmhouse was cute and private yet it had much to do on the property and was close to town. Fell asleep to the sound of the creek every night. Hot tub was perfect. We spent Easter here. Perfect place to spend a holiday. Will definitely be back! We’ve stayed in plenty of places in Bryson and surrounding areas due to familial ties in the area and this was by far one of the best! 😊😊

Heart’s Desire was the best place to be to celebrate our 37th anniversary. The cozy, comfortable cabin was a blessing in every way. It’s quiet location and beautiful views left is with memories to last us many more years of love and joy. Thank you, Danny for being such a wonderful host. We pray all your guests will be as blessed as we were.

We had a great overall experience, we always love the waynesville area. The home was clean, organized, and exactly as described. Host was very thorough with instructions and very easy to Interact with. 10/10 would stay again!

This was a beautiful place to stay, in a very secluded location with stunning views. It was the perfect getaway for our honeymoon. The host was extremely responsive, even answering the phone late at night when we arrived and needed assistance. You will 100% need 4WD/AWD to make it to the property, but the hosts have a vehicle you can use. It is a bit of a haul to get back to “civilization” for things like groceries and restaurants, but if you’re looking for a place to show down and feel like the only people for miles like us, book your stay here!

The home was so much more than we expected! Beautiful inside and outside. Very comfortable and spacious. We had a crew of 11 family members, so we brought all kinds of items we thought we would need. However, we did not need for much. The home already had pretty much every cooking utensil you would need for a large group and the eating utensils to go along with it--but there were even spices and tin foil, trash bags and dishwashing tablets and so much more. Some played games in the game room. Some spent time in the hot tub. And most spent time at the fire pit. There was even firewood available! We had a wonderful time celebrating my husband's 70th birthday together. Thank you, Anthony!

Would stay again. The condo was large, the kitchen was well-equipped and the location was great for everything we wanted to do. It was nice to be able to walk to the arcade, go karts and The Island without worrying about parking. The parking was great and only two steps from the door to unload and pack up. The staff at the hotel were kind and the housekeeping staff left Easter eggs for my son to find which was a fun surprise. Poliana was a great host. I'm sure this place will continue to book fast, so if you're on the fence and don't need a woodsy environment, this is the best place!

I had an amazing stay at this cabin! The description was spot-on—what you see is exactly what you get. The location is fantastic, just a short drive from Pigeon Forge and close to the island, making it perfect for exploring the area. The cabin was immaculate, and the host was both friendly and extremely responsive. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located getaway.

This home was a great stay for our family during spring break! It match exactly as shown and described, including the drive up the mountain. It’s for sure private but there is so much to do in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge which is about 20-30 minutes. The indoor pool was a hit with the kids! The hosts were very responsive throughout our stay! Totally planning another stay with our family.

We absolutely loved our stay at Shell Mountain Splash! With four kids 7-10 this was perfect for our two families! The kids loved the pool and had plenty of room to play and spread out. The view was absolutely breathtaking and we think we probably had the best view on the mountain! The beds were very comfortable, everything we were promised was there. The windy roads take a bit to get used to and our husbands were able to navigate the hill to the cabin on motorcycles with some patience and persistence. We do wonder if lower vehicles can safely enter the driveway as it is very steep and did have some scape marks so beware if your car sits lower to the ground. Definitely recommend overall!

Enjoyed my stay got to see raccoons and enjoy their play on the back porch and walk in and out of the woods got plenty of exercise walking up and down the mountain a great view love the entry, kind and friendly environment

The seclusion of this cabin was just what we were looking for! It was only a 15-20 minute drive to get to anything we needed or wanted to do. The pool was a nice escape for the kids in the evening and there were alarms on the pool door. I was a little nervous when I saw the access door to the pool was in the kids bedroom.

This house was perfect for my family for spring break. Everything was clean and spacious. The kids loved the game room and movie room. We will definitely be booking again.

House was perfect for our needs and was close to everything in the Pigeon Forge area. Driveway was a little challenging for our lowered cars but the house was beautiful and the location worked out great!

We really enjoyed our stay! We were looking for a cute and comfortable place to stay while we were in town for my daughters musical performance at WCU. Greta's house was perfect. It was very clean and beautifully decorated and is very close to the university. This is a great house!

We had the best time at the dream cabin!! Robert was a great host who was polite and friendly, he had great communication with us throughout our whole stay! The cabin was so cute! Perfect location!! Close enough to all there is to do, but secluded enough that it was peaceful and quiet!! Next time we are in the area we will definitely try to stay here again!! Our family stayed here with our children. The place was in the perfect location not far from any attractions and was just like the pictures. Perfect spot for a family with affordable rates! I would definitely stay here again!

Our family had a fantastic trip, and Phillip was extremely proactive with communication and great recommendations for restaurants and fun activities nearby. The house had everything we were looking for and is very comfortable and inviting. They also stocked the kitchen with basic items you usually have to remember to bring…including a full variety of spices, oil, coffee, etc. The property itself is where this rental really shines! Beautiful view of Lake Glenville and the house is nestled in a peaceful cove with an impressive waterfall just across the way. There are several outdoor seating areas that make it PERFECT for whatever you’re looking to do. For those wanting to really get away to a quiet retreat, look no further! We would definitely stay here again!

We were a family of 10 and had an extremely comfortable stay. The home was decorated very nicely and had amenities to complement everyone. Catherine was quick to respond to any issues and went out of her way to resolve them promptly. The home is located close to many attractions with minimal drive time. Highly recommended!!

This was perfect for our family of 5. Spacious and cozy. They even had a Christmas tree and stockings since it was the holidays! Very clean and the beds were super comfy!
