Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Chenac-Saint-Seurin-d'Uzet

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

We stayed at Thierry's for a week in May. Thierry responded very kindly and uncomplicated to the fact that our arrival was delayed more and more. He welcomed us very nicely and gave us many tips. You can see from the house that Thierry is a flea market fan, we thought that gives the house character, it is really unique. It is quiet, a lot of nature around, the frogs croak their concert, at night the nightingales sing. The large, slightly overgrown garden (we like it) was fenced in so that our dog could go in and out of the house as he pleased. The area is pleasantly not overcrowded with tourists, yet there were opportunities to do something. Small tip: do not stay in the caravan if you are taller than about 180 cm (we are a little smaller, so it worked well). Thank you Thierry, we hope to come back!

Lovely property. Fantastic pool. We were a family of 8 + child and it was very comfortable. Close to Cognac and an hours drive from pool. Welcoming and responsive hosts. Definitely recommend.

Very nice rental that perfectly matches the Airbnb listing. Thierry is very friendly and very responsive. The city of Saujon is very cute with pleasant walks along the Seudre.

We had a great time at this rental, very well located in Royan: beaches, shops and city center within 15 minutes' walk, so we didn't use our vehicle during our stay. The rental was IMPECCABLE, very comfortable bedding, the interior whose decoration was very cozy and pleasantly decorated, was also impeccable and well-equipped, we did not lack anything. A second stay, which once again didn't disappoint. The light and the view are beautiful in all weather, the beach of Pontaillac is both beautiful and friendly. The apartment is through, the room is in the back, quiet.

We received very clear information about the area (sights, cycling routes,...). We are very enthusiastic, both about the house and about the hostess.

Beautiful house, very good bedding and very well maintained / easy to use (ground floor). The fenced and secure park (with playground) for children - ideal! Living room with wood stove, very pleasant in the evening and cocooning - a haven of peace. Very responsive host on the platform, beach recommendations and easy communication. Beautiful place located a short walk from the beach of Plaisance! A great sandy beach to enjoy pleasant moments! We found in Romain's house and his companion everything we expected: the calm of a large garden under the pine trees, a house in which we knew right away that our stay would be great, the characteristic smells of the seaside...!!! Finally, Romain is very responsive, attentive, and will be good advice to tell you where to treat! Really a great week, we will come back without a problem!!! We had a wonderful time with the family. The house is large, tastefully decorated, well-equipped with a large outdoor terrace and a very nice swimming pool. You can do everything on foot, from the beach, to shops and restaurants. We spent 5 very intense days there. Thank you Danielle. 😘

Very nice services for this very well-equipped and decorated house, with quality materials. A quiet and peaceful environment, apart from the noise of the animals that inhabit these places. There is no shortage of activities on site or within walking distance. Ideal for a stay with friends with large indoor and outdoor spaces.

We had a great time in the villa at Meschers-sur-Gironde. The accommodation was first class with everything that you could wish for including a small pool to cool down in. Easy walking distance to the beach and marina where there are plenty of places to eat and drink. All-in-all a great location for a family holiday.
