Beach house vacation rentals in Châtelaillon-Plage

Accommodation as described, beach, accessible in two minutes, unsupervised, without being crowded with people. I recommend a stay at Sandrine's, apartment in a quiet residence.

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

Need we say more about the villa that Marie offers? You can come without a second thought. Everything is spotless. I'm looking for a flaw to reproach him but I couldn't find anything:-) We will return to the island of Oléron, and it will be at Marie's. Thank you Marie for everything

The house and its services met our expectations. Anaïs was extremely responsive, attentive and friendly. We felt very comfortable in the house and found it to be an excellent welcome. We booked the day before for the next day, Anaïs was extremely accommodating.

Great. I would this property. It allows you to spend a vacation in the La Rochelle region with access to the sea on foot.

The place met our expectations. Sarah gave us clear information about our arrival and departure. We were even able to enjoy the accommodation before the scheduled time which was very appreciated. The small garden with its small wooden terrace is really a plus for lunch outside. The residence is well designed and very well maintained and flowered . We really enjoyed the bed linen provided as well as the cleaning products. This little house is very nice and well designed. We had a pleasant stay.

A great stay at Annie's, special mention for the bathroom, we loved taking showers there! Annie is a very friendly, welcoming, available host, really adorable. We felt very good and our 4-year-old daughter too because there was a table and chairs her size for manual activities.

Our family weekend went wonderfully in this spacious house made for many guests. Well located, it allows access to the train station, beach and city on foot.

Great stay in Ile de Ré, the accommodation is ideal for a couple with two children, very well equipped, very well located, very appreciable underground parking and a very friendly welcome, I would recommend it!

We had such a relaxing time in this beautiful place. All amenities exceed our expectations and the place was superb for exploring the surroundings by bike or by foot. All rooms were modern and spotless. Kitchen has all you need. Nice and clean pool maintained professionally. We felt very safe here and would love to return.

We had a lovely stay at Florence and Christophe's. Very clean accommodation and as described. Close to shops. Perfect for a few days on the island. We'll be happy to go back!! See you soon!!

We had a great vacation in Julie's house, with our 3 children. The secure and heated pool was a real daily treat including for our youngest who was able to start gaining autonomy in the water. The neighborhood is quiet and the back garden is out of sight, we were able to enjoy it and have our meals on the terrace under the large umbrella. Shops (including bakeries) and the entertainment of the city and the port are within walking distance. The house is clean and well-equipped, the rooms are spacious. Note that a bedroom with its bathroom is slightly "independent" of the house, i.e. it is simply separated by a bay window and a glass door, and has its own access. Julie was quite available and responsive. Thank you so much, we highly recommend this listing and will come back 😊

Kevin was very responsive and helpful with questions. He greeted us and showed us how everything worked. He was very friendly. It was a very comfortable stay. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room on the very large sofa for our family. The pool was beautiful and bigger than it looked on the photo. There was a safe hard pool cover which was good for children. The showers were very good quality. It was very spacious place to stay with walk in wardrobe and view of pool from main bedroom. Good amount of shade outside with big umbrella over table and outside awning. Outside area with pizza oven was nice extra. Kitchen was high quality. Very short walk to supermarket was convenient. Felt safe to cycle with children right from property. Property felt private and not overlooked at all. Could hear the sea at night and so many stars. Was nicely decorated but not personal so felt at home right away.

Absolutely wonderful house! Highly recommend. The house is beautiful and very well equipped, you can find all you need for a lovely stay in the beautiful île de re. There is a daily market 5minutes bike ride, and a supermarket. The swimming pool is delightful, heated, the house offers 2 space for sleeping, on in the main house with 2 bedrooms and one in a side building with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom which makes is very well suited for 2 families. Thanks a lot to our hosts that made us feel like at home.

Eric’s beautiful home is quite simply a fantastic place for a holiday. The location is great - with beach, shops, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance - and the house itself is something else! The outside space is enclosed and private, and gets the sun all day long, while the pool is huge. Inside it is stylishly furnished and decorated, with very comfortable beds and sofas, and a very well equipped kitchen. The large open plan living/dining/kitchen area also has floor to ceiling windows throughout that open to allow you to bring the feeling of being outside indoors. Eric himself was the perfect host - taking the time to show us around and demonstrate all the amenities and give recommendations - and whenever we had a question he got back to us straight away. We had a wonderful 10 days here, and would definitely come gain if we get the chance.

It's wow from the entrance!!! Tastefully decorated. The indoor patio is welcoming. The sea is at the end of the street It's quiet . A place to remember. 🤩

We stayed with 6 adults, a three-year-old and a 4-month-old baby. Warm welcome. Spacious house as described. Tree garden. Both beaches are nearby and you can walk there very easily in a few minutes. Comfortable bedding. The two terraces are really a plus to have your meals outdoors or relax in peace. We recommend it unreservedly.

Agnes' place is very nice, ideally located almost on the seafront. With a large terrace and great decor, the cabin is very pleasant to live in... We were there for work but will be happy to come back for the holidays. Thank you again

We had a wonderful ten days! Emmanuelle's house is perfect, a haven of peace in a very good location on the island. Emmanuelle was attentive and very responsive. Oleron was a discovery for us and we loved it, our hope is to come back. The wild coast of Chassiron is sublime, all the beaches have their charm. We also ate very well, oysters, mussels, sardines, etc... everything was EXCELLENT!

A great stay in this large and beautiful house 400 m from a small family beach, close to the Cotinière and close to St Pierre d 'Oléron. Very well equipped, our family enjoyed this week under a big sun.

We had a pleasant stay in April at Valentin's house, ideally located by the sea. The framework is very relaxing. Our kids loved being able to enjoy the beach when we left the house. This one is very well equipped and the bedding is comfortable.
