What a beautiful home and a fabulous pool , many an evening was spent around it , we were totally relaxed after our stay and would highly recommend Our hosts were really accommodating and vet helpful and at the end of a message and were quick to respond . The Matrieux cottage is well equipped and very comfortable, the games room is an undeniable plus with children, the hosts are very welcoming, available and friendly. The only downside will be that we hear a lot from the neighbors of the adjoining cottage.

We had an amazing stay at Gordon and Caroline's! They are adorable, very nice, very attentive! Their accommodation is amazing and warm! Perfect, perfect, perfect! We have had the most amazing week at Lilac Cottage! Phil & Maggie were amazing hosts, very attentive, and absolutely lovely. The cottage was gorgeous with all the amenities you could need. The pool area was also lovely and private and the selection of pool toys went down a treat with the kids. Maggie was always on hand if we needed any recommendations of where to go to see the local area . Overall a fantastic stop off as part of our mini French adventure. Would highly recommend!

We had a very relaxing stay at Jane and David's place. The setting is very warm: an English cottage feel in the middle of the Dordogne! The accommodation, besides being tastefully decorated, is very clean. We loved that the fact that it was crossing, overlooking a very nice garden or the surrounding countryside. Jane is welcoming and responsive. We recommend the evening meals cooked by them. A great experience!

We all had a fantastic week at Le Pible. There are so many things we could say about this beautiful place - the setting was amazing at all times of the day and we loved watching the deer and horses roaming across the fields. The cottage and gite were both well equipped and comfortable and the beautifully presented gite gave us extra space which was much appreciated. On arrival there was a packed welcome tray which was both thoughtful and enjoyed during the week. Without a doubt, the swimming pool was a favourite for us all especially as the week we were staying there was a very hot week. It was immaculately clean and we loved the salt water. Our hosts could not have been more helpful and replied to any questions extremely promptly. We unreservedly recommend Le Pible as a fabulous holiday home and have made many happy memories by staying there.

Graeme and Anne were wonderful hosts, and their accommodation was lovely. We arrived much later than planned due to a delayed flight, but they welcomed us and got us settled in. The holiday started to go right as soon as we arrived. The property is beautiful, in a rural setting, and the photos are very accurate. We would love to stay again.

A great Easter weekend with the family in a peaceful home. A great place to spend a week, a month, a weekend with 12 people. There's nothing lacking in the space. Delphine has been very active and the instructions are clear and accurate. We loved it and will definitely be back. Thanks also to Cindy for your hospitality and kindness.

Pet-friendly single-story home. 3 large bedrooms. Garden is large enough. Lots of sightseeing within an hour's radius. Supermarkets not far away. Very peaceful because set back from the road. 3 parking spaces including 1 covered. Poor TV reception but the very good quality of the WiFi counterbalances this. Very well-equipped.

We had a lovely week's stay here - it had all the amenities we needed for self-catering and Stephanie was very quick to respond to any questions we had. It's very peaceful and quiet but within walking distance to the shops etc in the village and also the river, where you can swim and relax on the beach.

Mark and Sandra welcomed us and showed us around. The house is nice to live in, it is perfect for 4 adults and 4 children (be careful, the ceiling of the upstairs room for adults is really low!). The setting is beautiful and very quiet. The garden is very large and tastefully planted. There are many places to stay in a variety of atmospheres. The pool is rather large and its surroundings are very well appointed. Mark was friendly and responsive during our conversations. A place to recommend without hesitation to relax!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Le Shedeaux. It is a beautiful property with picturesque landscape views and it is also close to scenic towns nearby. Paul is a friendly host who was accommodating, helpful and easy to contact. He set up the fireplace for our arrival which made the cottage very cosy. We look forward to returning!

The stay went very well at Gérard's on the occasion of the comics festival. The house is close to a bakery, which is very convenient to grab yourself for lunch! The train station is also close if you don't want to take the car. The house is very comfortable with the three bedrooms and two bathrooms. We recommend!

Ann was very available, and was very accommodating (especially on our arrival time, a thousand thanks for that) The accommodation is very large, we stayed at 14 (9 adults and 5 children) and we did not lack space (except maybe on the kitchen table in rainy weather) The exterior is huge, and great for the kids. The pool is large and its access is well secured. The game room with darts, ping, badminton... and the bike room with bike available are really a plus.

Marion welcomed us very warmly. Special attention has been given to our small questions. Walking distance to Aubeterre which I recommend. Good food addresses and good practical tips. And then her place is beautiful. Quiet, well equipped, with a nice private garden very flowered (we took the aperitif outside at night, mid-April) it can respond very pleasantly to a stay for 4 people. In addition, the region is very pleasant, with necessarily a nice visit to Aubeterre sur Dronne. Keep it in your favorites
