Cottage vacation rentals in Charlottesville

My wife and I came to Roseland to compete in the Devils Backbone BBQ Championship which was held at the brewery. The cottage was only a mile from the brewery. It was so relaxing and peaceful to return to the cottage at the end of the day. The cottage is clean, well equipped with everything you need, and very well maintained. Leslie & Mike say they love their cottage and it’s easy to see that. We would absolutely stay there again!! Steve & Kelly

Three of us went for a working weekend to cast a vision for a ministry at our church. Patti’s place was immaculate, comfortable and oh so peaceful. We enjoyed the rockers on the porch, large yard and the beautiful rural surrounding of well kept neighboring homes. Perfect for a getaway or for anyone attending a wedding at The Market at Grelen. We went there for lunch and a hike before we checked in.

I stay here often as I have family in the immediate area. It has always been wonderful and felt like a home away from home. Very comfortable and Patricia is an awesome host! I haven’t had many questions for her, but when I have, she is always accessible and answers promptly. I really enjoy staying at this Airbnb and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Great location and the house felt large and uncrowded for 5 adults and a baby. Nice outdoor space with fire pit. Would definitely rent again.

Kay’s place was great! She had everything we needed and more. The view was amazing! Place was well stocked and very clean. Communication was great as well.

This house is downright wonderful. Everything is beautiful, clean and cozy. It is all just as it should be. The host was perfect: accommodating, thoughtful, and friendly. The surroundings sublime, with peace oozing out of every square inch of the house and property. There is a creek behind the house that is the icing on the cake. Wow.

We had an incredible stay at Julie’s place! Everything was spotless and perfectly maintained—the cleanliness truly stood out. The home was spacious, beautifully updated, and had every amenity we could’ve hoped for. We especially appreciated the covered parking for both our vehicles, the peaceful yard, grill, and fire pit—it made for some perfect evenings. Plus, the location was super convenient for exploring Shenandoah National Park. Julie was a thoughtful and responsive host. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Great quiet, secluded location and cozy place. It was the perfect amount of space for just the two of us. The host provided very clear instructions on how to reach the remote location, and we found it with no issues thanks to her instructions. She was very responsive and friendly. The cabin was very clean and we loved it!

Great host, gorgeous views, and a quaint old home with history. Queen bed was very comfy and ac worked great! Host greeted us, answered any questions we had, provided local recommendations for our anniversary, and had even more amenities than we expected upon arrival. Would definitely come back if in the area again! My dogs loved the farm.

We really enjoyed our weekend at the cottage. Beautiful setting and loads of activities in the valley.

We had a relaxing stay with our doggies. it's a cute and cozy cottage. Kim was gracious and responsive. It's a lovely property. I slept in the downstairs bedroom with the doggies, which worked out because they couldn't climb the stairs and I'm scared of heights. I'm addition to the smart TV, the cottage is stocked with a great selection of movies.

overall the stay was wonderful only complaint was the hot water smelled like metal which I'm extremely sensitive too so it was a strugglebto get my kids bathed.

This was our third visit and we have loved being there every time. We travel from Florida to Pennsylvania in the spring and fall and this is the only place we stay two overnights because it’s such a lovely place to be. Chris is as nice and welcoming as anyone could possibly be. Everything you need is there. The pool and hot tub are amazing. The gardens and bird life are like nowhere else. The Graves Mill Trail, about 25 minutes away is a beautiful place to hike. And Chris introduced us last year to old house Vineyards where you can have amazing brick oven pizza on Mondays. We will return again and again!

An amazing stay for our group! It was a beautiful and peaceful environ and the house and local neighborhood had some fantastic amenities and perks that we were fully encouraged to enjoy and take advantage of. We had a full group of 8 people and and it was perfect for our needs.

I can’t possibly recommend staying at the cottage enough! The hosts were incredible, welcoming, and so wonderful to talk to. The cottage and property were absolutely stunning. We have two kids and they absolutely loved it as well. We felt super at home and we will definitely be returning!

Briana’s place was clean, comfortable, and cozy. It was very peaceful with beautiful views. I really liked that Briana communicated with us a few days before check in to provide us with instructions and to wish us safe travels. She also communicated with us immediately after check in to ensure our check-in was smooth. I would highly recommend Briana’s place if you’re looking for some rest and relaxation and I would definitely book her place again.

We loved unwinding there after a day of exploring. Communication with the host was super easy, and check-in was a breeze. Our stay was exceptional and exactly what we were looking for. The breathtaking view of the mountains in the background was truly stunning. The home felt peaceful, warm, and very clean—perfect for a relaxing getaway. It was also conveniently located close to the main road. We had everything we needed in this charming, well-equipped home. This was truly the best airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. It’s beautiful, has amazing views that we thought were even more beautiful than the pictures lead on, all of the bedrooms were spacious, stylish and offered very comfortable king sized beds besides the children’s room with the painted mountains - (there’s were cozy too just not king sized beds besides). The lot is huge and has enough space that’s not sloped to play games, etc. It had all of the amenities we wanted, very clean, huge windows throughout. We met our friends there who also have 2 young kids and we had no complaints about safety issues, etc, and our kids ranged from 6 months to 5 y/o. Outstanding space! If I’m in Luray again, we would stay there for sure!

This house is a gem! The location allows for privacy and great hikes while still being close enough to Luray and Sperryville for restaurants and activities. I’d absolutely return. The house was clean and as advertised. The hosts were very responsive! The creek on the property was such a lovely feature. The only note I’d like to make is the area must have had a lot of rain right before our visit. To access the house, you drive over a very small concrete bridge over the creek. When we arrived the water was over the bridge, and probably 5 or so inches at its deepest. We had a sedan and weren’t comfortable driving over. Jerry quickly gave us alternate directions, so all in all in worked out and provided some excitement :). But if there’s been a lot of rain and you have a low car, be aware!

Beautiful and cozy cottage cabin in Virginia!

We absolutely loved our stay! We were here for our elopement in Shenandoah National Park and this location was perfect. The AirBnb was clean, it had beautiful surroundings, and all of the amenities were great!! Colton gave us awesome local recommendations as well. We will definitely be back!

Tracy was a fantastic host who made us right at home. We loved being back in the woods and had a relaxing stay. Definitely appreciated a host who had some really delicious restaurant recommendations. We hope to be back soon.
