The place was very nicely decorated and the bed was comfy. I especially liked the perfectly furnished kitchen, it had everything you need. The hosts were very friendly and it was possible for me to take my bike in. Very helpful and nice! Perfect place 👍🏻

Accommodation as described, but furniture is a bit from another era, the accommodation is suitable for a family of 4 without problem, quiet.

The house is in a very quiet place if you are looking for calm. The environment is rural and very nice, the house is very good for a family with children. It has a garden and field in the surroundings and that allows you to have space to go out

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

We stayed for a month and had an incredible time. A Beautiful countryside that is easy to explore on foot and bike. House is great and lots of cooking kit.

It was a really nice week in the gîte rosiers. We enjoyed very much the nice surroundings and fun activities nearby. Super friendly hosts, they were always ready for us for help, fun tips and a chat here and there. It is definitely recommended!!

Alfie and I had a great time at Lee's immaculate courtyard cottage while house hunting in the area. Communication was excellent from beginning to end. A lovely, cosy place and a much appreciated and unexpected tipple awaited us after a long drive, which was very welcome! Nothing was too much trouble. The quality of decor and bed linen is first class. We are looking forward to our next stay again soon. Highly recommended.

Charming little home in a green setting. Anne and Xavier are attentive, available and friendly. We had a nice stay at their home, and were able to really enjoy nature and this beautiful area. We recommend it for a quiet stay. Some more supplies in the accommodation would be welcome (toilet paper, sugar, dishwashing liquid...) but otherwise great!

The stay went very well at Gérard's on the occasion of the comics festival. The house is close to a bakery, which is very convenient to grab yourself for lunch! The train station is also close if you don't want to take the car. The house is very comfortable with the three bedrooms and two bathrooms. We recommend!

A very nice, functional and quiet place. A responsive, very nice and accommodating host. The big plus for me, dogs are allowed and the owners love pets! My daughters and I loved our stay class.

Superb accommodation, lots of charm (parquet, beams, fireplace...). Very well-equipped kitchen with dishes and utensils. There is even a commissary, dishwasher tablets... ditto in the bathroom: shower gel, laundry... the 4 bedrooms are huge. lots of space and games for the kids, whether inside or outside. The garden is splendid!! We'll come back to enjoy it without the rain!!

Always nice to spend the weekend at Joel's. He was very responsive after a small problem despite the fact that he couldn't do anything about it, he does his best to make it as good as possible.

Denise is adorable, smiling. The accommodation is very cozy and very well-equipped.

Ann was very available, and was very accommodating (especially on our arrival time, a thousand thanks for that) The accommodation is very large, we stayed at 14 (9 adults and 5 children) and we did not lack space (except maybe on the kitchen table in rainy weather) The exterior is huge, and great for the kids. The pool is large and its access is well secured. The game room with darts, ping, badminton... and the bike room with bike available are really a plus.

Nicole is a great host. Friendly and warm, we had a very pleasant second stay at her property. The apartment is as described. We recommend it.
