Peacock Place. This is a mid mod Paradise. Find woods with gold, yellow and blue accents adorn this beautiful little apartment. Everything is new and comfortable. One block to downtown Ottawa, lots of antique shopping and dinning. Worlds oldest still running movie theater is one block way. Enjoy a beer and bbq in the same block at Not Lost Brewery. In the morning the best little coffee shop in the state is also just one block to the north, Mug Shot Coffee. Look for it in the alley.

This was a LOVELY stay in the peaceful countryside of rural Kansas. It was a hot day and therefore warm inside, but as night fell, the building cooled down and the fan provided (along with one larger one we brought) kept us perfectly comfortable all night. The furnishings are lovely--well designed, eclectic touches that made the stay feel magical. Would love to stay here in the fall or winter and cozy up with a good book and journal. Thank you for creating this hidden GEM!

Great place to stay! I stayed for the Unbound gravel race in Emporia and it was a really good location between the race venue and airport!

Susan was a great host! She responded quickly to my questions and was more than accommodating with my plans to stay in a yurt. This is the second time in my life. She greeted us when we arrived and gave an explanation about the property…. Including the history. I love that stuff. There is a barn that has WiFi and some other amenities. It’s not a long walk. The yurt is pretty much like staying in a very large tent, but nicer. It was a quick trip. I wish we could have stayed longer. I would love to go back with my family when we can. Thanks, Susan!
