Loft vacation rentals in Central New York

I can't remember how many times I've stayed with John and Caroline. Six? Seven? Eight? Alway wonderful. Hospitality, charm, and beauty. In elegant comfort. But this time even the weather was absolutely perfect. Balmy. Sunny. Late autumn color. But why read this review? Just look at the photos. I rest my case.

We enjoyed the school house charm and vibe in the apartment. Brought back lots of childhood memories . The beds were comfortable and the livingroom space was welcoming and spacious. This was a terrific place for a getaway while attending a family wedding.

Such a unique stay! The school was easy to get into and find our classroom (even though we arrived late at night), and we loved falling asleep with the windows open to the sound of crickets. It was exactly like the description, with everything we needed (including coffee creamer, which was a really nice touch!). The beds were comfy, we could not hear the other classroom renters, and everything was clean. It is a quick 10 min walk into the little town, and PECish bakery was divine. It was also nice and close to Sandbanks Provincial Park, with a beautiful 15min drive through the country side. Everyone loved the giant chalkboard! We would definitely stay here again.

My partner and I stayed at Laura Ann's place for a weekend getaway and it was the highlight of our stay. It was very abstract and every time we came back from outside, something new always stood out in the room. We loved the decor, vibe and overall aesthetic of the place! Laura Ann was very helpful with suggestions and accommodating for our check in. As well as, quick to respond to any questions we had. Would definitely and will hopefully book again soon! Bev and the birds were also so sweet and helpful!

Cindy was very friendly and even had cookies waiting for us! We would definitely book again when in the area!

Great location for our weekend getaway, close to shops, supermarket, restaurants. Lisa went above and beyond filling mini fridge with drinks, breakfast supplies, fresh fruit and snacks. Couch in the living room is comfy to sleep on for a couple of days. If you are light sensitive, bring an eye mask. Space is pretty bright in the morning due to small window on the ceiling above the bed.

Sunshine or drizzle I was on the balcony with my coffee each morning listening to and watching the fishermen stretched along the river below us. It is certainly hard to resist the great smells of the pub style restaurant on the first floor and we visited several times.

I wasn’t ready to leave! Before we even made it to NY, my correspondence with Laura told me she was a special delight. When we walked in to the old schoolhouse, there she was with a cockatoo on her shoulder. She and Tico both gave us the tour, and our room - the Chinese room - was absolutely gorgeous. I was ready to move in! We spent some time with Tico and Popcorn (the cockatoos) and what a bunch of hams they are ! They sing and laugh and don’t want to leave your shoulders. The surroundings were green and lush and it’s an easy walk into town thru the cemetery. I tell ya, of course it would have been simpler to stay in town, but this place is worth its weight in gold and feathers. What a magical experience.

My mom and I needed a place to stay close to the Skidmore campus for parents weekend. The place was perfect for us. It was close to campus and really easy to get into town to soak in all of Saratoga. The apartment was even more beautiful in person, clean, bright, and with every amenity you could imagine. There were snacks – even Ben & Jerry’s mini sundaes in the freezer! My daughter loved those! Sheri called me the night we checked in and we met her the next day. She was warm and friendly, and had lots of suggestions for us. It was a really comfortable space to rest, hang out, and make meals if we didn’t feel like going out to eat. It was a perfect place to stay, and we will definitely be back!

Loved our second stay at the Cast Iron Lady as much as the first. Clean, uncluttered, beautiful renovation, easy access to all we needed. Love this airy space overlooking Main Street. Thanks for thinking of the details! Wyalusing is small but offers some nice surprises. We enjoyed this year’s Wyalusing Museum quilt show, Patchwork in the Pews. Looking forward to another stay!

Perfect location and perfect loft - so clean and spacious! We were in the heart of Warren street with supreme accommodations! We highly recommend Gail’s place! The loft had all many little touches that made it feel immediately like home!

Loved our stay with Edi! This place was super cozy and charming. Edi is very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Great stay! Shout out to Dylan for being super friendly and welcoming. I was initially worried about noise from the bar downstairs, but it was surprisingly quiet—I slept like a baby. The water pressure was amazing, and the spacious common room with a speaker was a clutch touch. The candles added a cozy, relaxing vibe—icing on the cake!

We had a terrific stay! Monica was very helpful, friendly and responsive. The loft was very comfortable and exactly as described. It was a hectic weekend in Ithaca, but you would never know it at the loft. The location was serene and tranquil. We would love to stay again. and would recommend to anyone!

Super cute and classic loft living - appreciated the well Stocked kitchen with good coffee :) murphy bed mattress was comfy.
