I love staying at the Rest! John is a great host. The place is perfect for my needs as a solo traveller on occasional visits to Rochester. Its so close to everything downtown, arts district, museums, food, coffee, nightlife. The place is always clean, tidy, with modern ammenities and conveniences! I will definitely be back. We had a great stay! The host was super communicative and made sure we had all the information we needed to find the parking lot, check in, etc. They even gave us a heads-up when the weather started to turn, so that we could plan accordingly. The room was comfortable and very spacious, and the location was super convenient. Even with a winter storm hitting, we were able to walk to coffee shops, great restaurants, and multiple bookstores. Would definitely recommend!

We had the best time! Perfect for a peaceful weekend getaway with your loved one and pup. The fire pit/s’mores and the pool were our highlights (even with the snow), but the dinner and cocktails were delicious as well. We also loved the location- super close to a wonderful dog friendly town and lots of breweries. We will DEFINITELY come back. FYI our dog is a bit larger/athletic so we kept him on a 20ft training leash in the gated area so he could run around. Highly recommend doing that if you have an energetic dog that can jump high.

The Bond is a rare gem that follows thru with what it shows on airbnb. I stayed in one of two dog friendly rooms for 2 weeks for a work trip and I couldn’t of been happier with my choice. If you stay on the weekends the restaurant is hands down the best place in town for food as well as service. Would highly recommend for a long or short stay.

We used this location as a little getaway for our 10 year anniversary. It was so nice to be a walking distance from the Drake restaurant, Midtown Brewery and have the Creekside Cafe right underneath. No need to use our car! The beach is a 15 walk with some beautiful views. A perfect spot.

Our stay here was exceptional! It was our first time in Picton for a wedding, and we loved everything about Michael's place. The location was perfect, with easy parking and walking distance to many businesses on Main Street (coffee, restaurants, cute little shops). The space itself was wonderful — there are many places to choose for for charming and quaint nearby but we especially loved how modern the renovations were. This was one of the most comfortable stays I've ever had in an AirBnB (the bedding was more comfortable than my own at home). Will happily stay here again!

We loved the Mansion at Keuka Lake for our sister fall weekend trip! The hill that it sits on is so beautiful and was absolutely stunning with all the fall leaves. The location was perfect for wine touring and nearby hiking. The restaurant at the mansion was also our fav of the weekend!

I had on my Catskills bucket list to stay at this motel for a few years and finally had the time! A nice bonus I didn’t know about at my booking was I got a room with a deck that was perfect for sunset teas and a book. The room itself is really cozy - it’s got coffee, milks, and some local popcorn. The fridge was great so I could bring some snacks! The host was really lovely and communicative. There’s no tv which I loved and came ready with a few books.

The hotel was absolutely adorable. So chic and cute, the room itself was beautiful. Right on the main strip with all of the cute restaurants and shops, we had an amazing time. There was a coffee bar on each floor with an espresso machine and coffee pot, it was great. I will be staying again!

We had a fantastic stay at the Hudson Mariner. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spacious. The location had easy parking and was extremely walkable to the shops and restaurants on Warren Street. Crystal and the property manager were very communicative and easy to get in touch with. We definitely recommend this property and can’t wait to return!

My wife and I stayed at Neil & Kryssy’s while in town for a class reunion. Check-in could not have been easier, and the room was just as described and was immaculate. Our room was close to great restaurants, a tavern, and a great little bakery that was across the street. A bonus was finding out that the Catskill Creek was right nearby as well. Our room was comfortable and was a great place to relax and rest up during our hectic weekend. Neil & Kryssy are great hosts whose place helped make our weekend even more relaxing.

Tom was a super nice host and gave us good advice. The room was very large and perfect. The bed was comfortable. We went there off season (in November) and despite the tranquility, there was still a little band playing at the restaurant. The restaurant is nice and the prices are very affordable for dinner and lunch. It's a small island filled with beauty and treasures. I love going there, it looks like time has stopped in this place. The river view is also stunning. We'll definitely be back. Thanks Tom!

When a mechanical problem became evident the response was immediate, communication very concise and effective. As was the repair, which was accomplished while we were out enjoying our day, seamlessly! What might have been disruptive to our stay was quickly resolved; and the alternative (should the problem defy quick repair, we were offered re-location within the building on the initiative of the host ! ) demonstrated the care and concern of the host. I am highly impressed, and 'satisfied' understates our experience. Nautical Nest is centrally located, wonderfully appointed, comfortable, and charming - perfect for our two-night business stay in Hudson. On return to the area we'd definitely re-book here. For the location, comfort, walkability, availability, utility and John's responsiveness, safe-accommodations and value/price...almost unbelievable & unbeatable! If you need a place to crash or you need to stay comfortably for some time (i.e. weeks) in Rochester, this is going to be one of, if not, your top option. For multiple people (more than two), it would be a little close quarters to stay more than a few days--like if you will have any others over or stopping by. For my purposes, being in town for two nights for a sporting event, John's place was 100% perfect! Gave me the feeling that my college dorm room (which I loved and re-requested multiple years) had been upgraded to a way better adult format! And with a very nice, immaculate bathroom, retro-design little refrigerator and everything I needed/wanted. Side note: Walk to Ugly Duck Coffee for the best in-town experience!! (Though there is good coffee & maker in the room.)

We had a lovely stay. Very cozy and welcoming with a sense of history on the picturesque property. The outdoor tree lights were stunning as we pulled in after dark. Check in was easy and we felt right at home immediately. There were lots of little extras that made us feel special: book lights in the bedside tables, coffee/tea, yogurt and milk in the fridge, cookies/biscuits and fruits, lots of throw pillows and blankets. It was a really nice setup for working or lounging. The bathroom is beautiful! Huge shower with an artisanal bar of soap. The bed was very comfortable and the heat was easy to adjust. Everything was scrupulously clean and well-labeled. The wall and ceiling candelabras cast a warm light and were all dim-able. Lovely touches all around! We would come back again!
