Waterfront vacation rentals in Central Elgin

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The outdoor areas were our favorite. Location was perfect, close to everything, we walked all around the area. Kitchen was well appointed. Plenty of towels... we would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Grant and Jane’s suite. We visited Port Stanley for our little one’s first Mother’s Day, and had an amazing stay. The unit is located bang on top of the Port Stanley marina with breathtaking views of the pier and Lake Erie. It is located very close to a number of nice eateries, and everything you’ll need at a quaint tourist town. To help us out, the owners were sweet enough to arrange for a booster seat for the baby. The house was extremely clean, with an abundant supply of extras and toileteries. The checkin and checkout processes very super smooth, and they happily agreed to let us take the time to checkout with the baby’s nap schedule. Port Stanley and the surrounding Lake Erie coast is a beautiful trip down from Toronto, and we’re extremely grateful to Grant and Jane for letting us celebrate a memorable mother’s day weekend! A+++ and Highly recommended!!

Impeccably maintained property with dedicated parking. Spotless and welcoming throughout, featuring an exceptionally well-stocked kitchen. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. The home felt airy and bright, with charming peek-a-boo views of the town river. A special touch—Bob greeted us with a fresh peony on our first day, which we enjoyed all week long.

Great place right downtown Stratford. Close to everything and lots to do. Brendan is quick to respond and proactive in resolving our concerns. Great stay!

Loved this place! It was exactly like the pictures, close to Avon theatre and amazing restaurants. Brendan and Janice were easy to communicate with and very responsive. It was a bit rainy so the location was great that we could pop back to it in between our outings. Highly recommend.

Excellent communication. Great location. Excellent parking. Very clean. Located on the quieter side which was great. One minute walk to south beach which was very quiet and nice. Ten minute walk to main strip, excellent shopping, restaurants and beach.

We loved staying here! Beautiful location and home, Jean was very helpful and thoughtful. Great books laid around, super comfortable beds, and lovely view of the Grand River. Hope to be back again soon!

Amazing location right on the Grand River. Just a stone throw from the Paris downtown eateries and bars. But the only noise is from a distant passing train and the cascade of the river over the wier. Well worth the time and money spent.

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The highlight was definitely the incredible outdoor setup — the sauna, hot tub, and cold plunge made for the most relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and exactly as pictured. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a little slice of paradise.

We were extremely happy with everything about our stay at Rachel's cottage. For starters, the house was immaculate when we arrived. There were a lots of special touches (light switches were labelled, wash clothes for cleaning makeup, easy wifi hookup, etc.). The cottage is even more beautiful than the photos show, and we loved the layout - so easy to have move around and to entertain in! The backyard is lovely as well - it has a firepit and nice adirondack chairs. There was a corn hole game provided, and we used it for some intense competitions! As mentioned in other reviews, the view over the lake from the front porch is gorgeous, we had our morning coffee there every day. We also played pickleball every day at the new courts in the Kokomo development - it is a short 15 minute walk from the cottage. And finally, the communication with Rachel was exceptional - she got back to us very quickly with any questions we had. We hope to be able to come back to her cottage again next year!

We found this house incredibly clean. The beds were comfy, and the towels plush. The kitchen was well stocked with necessities. We would come back again. The wagon available for hauling things to the beach was a winner!

Michael’s place in is a fantastic find in London. The yard space and proximity to the river is incredible. The Blackfriars neighbourhood is a gem, and the short scenic walk to downtown restaurants is perfection. We live in the city, and needed a place to stay during a renovation. We can’t recommend this place enough. My wife will probably want to book this as a cottage getaway in the near future, even though we live 6 blocks away. Michael & his family were fantastic hosts. Very responsive & eager to help with anything! 10/10 stay.

We had an incredible stay in Port Stanley! The place is newly renovated with thoughtful design and beautiful decor—plus the views are absolutely stunning. Sue was a fantastic host—responsive, helpful, and full of great local recommendations. If you’re looking for a five-star experience, you’ll find it in this gem. Highly recommend!

Rose Beach Retreat was built in 2023. The cottage was clean, fresh and comfy with modern conveniences ( many outlets, ceiling fans, excellent lighting). The kitchen was well appointed, had new appliances, every small appliance you would need and well stocked with everyday cooking extras. The bedrooms were bright & roomy with each having a large closet. The spacious front front porch provides a great view of Lake Erie and the public beach across the road. Rondeau Provincial Park with its hiking trails and beach is nearby. Erieau is a great place to visit, as well. This is truly a wonderful home, away from home. Molly always communicates quickly. We are already booking for next year.

We had an amazing stay at Mikes air bnb in Grand Bend for my Husbands 30th. The place was wonderful with lots of things to do and a lot of indoor and outdoor space. Mike was more than responsive to us and helped us with any questions we had and made sure everything was working and fixed for us. Him and his wife were super responsive and were able to accommodate us with early check in and late checkout because the place was available the night before and after. This was very kind of them and they did not have to do this. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. The most amazing thing about this air bnb is the location , it’s a minute walk from the main strip and had so many extra amenities such as kayaks. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting grand bend. The inside of the place is modern, new and had everything we needed and the outdoor space was equipped with bbqs, outdoor Furniture etc. we would definitely stay again.

We always love our stay at Anh’s place. It’s meticulously clean, beautiful & perfect for our family of 5. This is our 3rd year coming & we’ll definitely be back.

Our family of four had a wonderful time! The apartment is amazing with all the interesting historical details and musical theme as well as being so comfy and spacious. What we loved the most was the location right beside the river and in town! Very walkable to go to restaurants and the theatres. There is a long flight of stairs to be aware of for those with mobility issues but felt it was manageable when bringing up our luggage. Thank you to the wonderful hosts for their hospitality and attentive communication. We would definitely stay again!

This is a very nice, clean, quiet, well appointed first floor condo right on the beach street with an unobstructed good view of Lake Erie. It is the most western of the nine units and is quite large with three good sized bedrooms (two with their own baths and a third for general use). Beds are comfortable, great lighting, plenty of hot water and a nice large tub to soak in. Comfortable indoor seating and a nice sitting patio looking south. There is a season pass for Long Point Park which is not to be missed. This is a perfect location for birders situated right between Long Point and Backus Woods. There is also a guest Netflix access. The host Helen is extremely receptive and attentive.

Had a great stay at Jojo’s in Port Rowan. Loved to wake up to a view of the lake. The condo was in excellent condition and extremely clean. Kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals. Beds were very comfortable with clean linens. Enjoyed the roof top patio and the muskoka chairs on the porch as well as the beach loungers. Great location to explore the shores of Lake Erie. Jojo was friendly and responsive. Would definitely recommend staying at Jojo’s place.

great place, access to the water from the private beach wasn't the easiest as it's all rocks so we just enjoyed the beach itself the public beach was just down the road :) great kitchen, comfortable beds, easy parking and can't beat the view

We had a wonderful winter weekend at The Red Sand Beachfront Luxury Condo. Helen was a terrific host and the accomodations were top notch! Spacious, spotless, well appointed and beautifully decorated. My wife and I felt at home as soon as we stepped through the door. The view is stellar - even in the winter! We enjoyed looking around Port Rowan and Port Dover, and had quiet, relaxing evenings watching movies in front of the cozy electric fireplace. Would highly recommend!
