Private suite vacation rentals in Central Elgin

I stayed for 3ish months. Flat worked very well for my stay. Would highly recommend if you have a dog as there’s a lovely and large backyard. Bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. Good, quiet, convenient neighbourhood, the upstairs tenants are wonderful, and Jennifer (host) is extremely responsive. Smaller bedroom is quieter as you can hear pipes from upper flat in the larger bedroom. I had only one issue with bad flooding during a high rain period. Jennifer was responsive, and sent someone to deal with it early the next morning. Once we spoke about it she then gave me an extra night, which I appreciated. She was also understanding and flexible about extensions/changes to checkout. Would stay again and recommend.

It was a one night stop but the place felt cozy and homey and had everything we needed. The bed is so comfortable too. Its located in a countryside area and it’s absolutely beautiful. We met Gary briefly as we arrived and he was very nice!

Rose is an amazing host! Her and her husband did so many extra special touches to make are staying awesome 👌 the place is great and the private beach incredible! Koda is a cutie 💓

Very comfortable stay for our family of four. Clean, super well-equipped. Good communication w/ hosts and a clear, helpful guide. Especially enjoyed having a cozy living room to gather in with a cheery fireplace. Highly recommended.

Excellent accomodations. Very clean, neat and well finished. Furniture was good quality and in great shape. The unit is well equiped with kitchen appliances including keureg, dishes, pots and utensils and a washer/dryer. There was even a nice fabric laundry hamper for each bedroom. The location is a lovely treed subdivision close to Western University. Although we were seldom there during the day when we were there it was quiet and restful. Dave was very helpful letting us leave our bikes in the garage. Attention to detail and quick responses help to make this a definitely recommended booking.

By far, the best backyard at an Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at! The appartment was clean spacious, fully loaded and filled with lots of little details. If you are looking to stay in Tillsonburg, I would highly recommend Jeffrey’s place

We had a lovely stay at her loft. Very peaceful surroundings with a beautiful view and deck. The beds were very comfortable and it is nice and quiet. The loft felt very comfy!! Thanks for a great stay!!

This is a wonderful spot! Inside the actual apartment is great, but it's the outdoor space that really shines. The outdoor kitchen is a unique experience, and the covered kitchen area is a perfect place to sit and listen to ALL. THE. BIRDS. (Including the chickens! ❤️) We were there for a spring birding trip and we didn't have to go very far. The place is just a couple minutes walk from the beach, and a short drive from Rondeau Provincial Park. Also, there are two utterly adorable pygmy goats, and ultra fresh eggs.

The basement suite was as advertised. Relocating to London, I stayed here while I settled down and looked for long term rentals. The suite contains a comfortable shower, bed, and kitchen. Ping, Kristen and Josh were very responsive to answer any questions I had. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The week I took from the 21st. to the 27th. of Sept. was in the quiet season. So nothing much was happening. Good thing I was close to my cousin right next door or else I would of been bored. It was good to get away from Montreal and the pollution. Just taking a walk and breathing the fresh air was good. Observing different types of birds was interesting. And when you have a chance try the new restaurant « Riva Italian restaurant ».

Larry & Mary’s place is beautiful with peaceful surroundings. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed, shown around and felt right at home. There were so many special touches with welcome scones and fresh local strawberries and every amenity you could think of. Larry and Mary are caring hosts and Charlie, their Poodle is so calm and friendly, they all made our holiday memorable. The grounds are stunning and I saw deer and numerous birds and you are close to trails and water for outdoor activities. We met Charlie’s playmates each morning and being a dog lover, it set me up for the day. If you are nervous around dogs then you can avoid the morning meet or spend time with Charlie to alleviate your fears. The flowing water in the pond is soothing whilst you sit on the patio and read your book. There is so much space around you, you immediately feel calm and are breathing fresh air. Perfect hosts and a perfect home and location. We loved it.

Quaint, and comfortable. This is my second time staying with Leanne, and both times have been very nice.

Host was always very helpful. I really appreciated that I could bring my dogs. Little extra touches like a shoe horn, were great!

Great host! Everything was perfect and then some. Lauren is such a thoughtful host; leaving snacks and toiletries. It really added to the experience. The bed is so comfy and the tub is great! 5 stars. Thanks Lauren!!
