Tiny house vacation rentals in Central America

Die Unterkunft ist mit „WAZE“ ganz einfach zu finden. Leandro wartet vor Ort auf uns und zeigte uns alles. Es gibt auf dem Grundstück drei Unterkünfte wovon diese hier die hinterste, direkt am Nationalpark ist. Somit besuchten uns täglich die Kapuzinaäffchen und viele andere Tiere aus der Wildnis. Es gibt eine Gemeinschaftsküche die mit allem ausgestattet ist, was man braucht. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und ebenfalls mit dem nötigstes ausgestattet. Leonardo spricht Deutsch, sodass die Kommunikation absolut problemlos verlief. Auf der Hängematten konnten wir es uns während des Regens gemütlich machen und uns anschließend mit warmen Wasser duschen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall nochmal wieder kommen.

Awesome. That's just the start. it rained for most of the time we were there and it made the space even more beautiful. We rested and really took in the beauty of nature. Stefan was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, very responsive and giving excellent suggestions. The cottage was beautiful, a perfect balance of rustic and modern. If you are a nature lover, a lone traveler or a couple looking for some down time to rejuvenate and recharge, Tumbleweed is definitely the place for you. We had a fantastic time staying at Hilary and Pike's. The place is clean and spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. They provided us with bikes which made it easy to get around the island. Hilary was very responsive and Pike kindly dropped us off to the ferry at 6:30am on our final morning. The dogs are super friendly (and cute), we loved having them around the property.

Excelente lugar para relajarse y olvidarse del trajín del día a día, José es un excelente anfitrión, pasó prácticamente desapercibido pero atento en el momento en el que se necesitaba algo, la piscina súper limpia, la casa súper limpia y con todas las comodidades que se mencionan y más. We absolutely loved our relaxing stay at this slice of Costa Rican paradise. The jungle sounds, manicured gardens, jungle trails and the view of the ocean below were spectacular. Probably our favourite part was the daily visits by a family of howler monkeys. We already plan to return.

Tuto is absolutely gorgeous, quiet, and peaceful. The staff are very hospitable, friendly, sweet, and kind. It is away from the crowded tourist streets but close enough to hang out in town when you want to

Amazing! Such a unique experience with lovely hosts. A beautiful location to spend time relaxing, snorkeling or fishing on the property or real close by. You can always get picked up form their dock for other excursions too if you wish (they helped us arrange a fly fishing trip and we snorkeled the barrier reef). The food that was included with the airbnb was delicious - most of it caught by the hosts or nearby fisherman. We actually ate Conch and a barracuda we watched them catch when they took us to a secret snorkeling spot. Nights are quiet and bug free. Reminder that there is no cell phone service in the Airbnb which, trust me, can be a good thing for relaxing. Finally, I can't say enough about the hosts - such a lovely family that we enjoyed sharing stories, laughing and playing cards with. I hope to be back real soon!

Perfecta para mi familia, estuvimos cómodos, relajados, siempre que necesitamos algo nos apoyaron inmediatamente y todos fueron muy amables y atentos, me encantó la limpieza de la ropa de cama y lo cerca del mar, también que pudiera llevarme los 2 tapetes a la playa, me sirvieron bastante, me encantaron. Las recomendaciones de restaurantes y actividades cerca me sirvieron muchísimo, definitivamente queremos volver pronto!!!

hermoso lugar! Apenas para la escapada de la cuidad para tener paz y tranquilidad. La cabaña es pequeña pero tiene todo lo que se necesita, definitivamente volvería! Las sábanas, baño y todo estaba super limpio. Solo me falto el Netflix, no lo tienen disponible... En general, me fascinó.

Sebas es el mejor host que he tenido hasta ahora. No solo es amable y servicial para atender cualquier consulta, sino que es de esas personas que va más allá de lo que le pedis o necesitas, con mucha calidad humana y servicio. Con respecto a las instalaciones, son tal como se describen y muestran en las fotos, con vistas increíbles y la posibilidad de conectar con la naturaleza. Las cataratas le dan un plus. Definitivamente es un lugar al que quiero volver!

Our host was there to greet us right away even though we were early. Super friendly. Their pet dog was adorable. Clean and comfortable barrel. Beautiful green space and garden. Very close to beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Der Aufenthalt im AirBnb von Huberth war einfach toll. Die Unterkunft liegt mitten auf einer Dschungelfarm, inmitten von der puren Natur und sie auch fußläufig zu erreichen. In der Unterkunft ist alles was man für den Aufenthalt benötigt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass auf dem Gelände auch Obst und Gemüse angebaut wird und man sich als Gast davon bedienen kann.

El alojamiento fue básico pero cómodo y tenía todo lo necesario para una buena estadía. Las vistas desde el alojamiento eran espectaculares. Estaba limpio al llegar y contaba con los utensilios de cocina necesarios. El wifi funcionó sin problemas. La comunicación con Catherine fue rápida y efectiva; nos envió recomendaciones de actividades cercanas y respondió todas nuestras dudas. Como sugerencia, sería ideal agregar mesas de noche y mejorar la iluminación en el área de estacionamiento.

Amazing place with beautiful plants and animals. Toucan, howler monkey and motmot are our neighbors. Highly recommended for animal lovers! Clean and cozy room. Close to waterfall and farm tour.

We stayed at Casa Rustica for 8 nights. The bungalow was the perfect size for my husband and me. The bed was very comfortable and the bath towels were luxurious. Sharr has done a great job decorating both inside and out. The vegetation around the property provides optimal privacy and we really enjoyed the outdoor shower. We didn’t hear or see our neighbours in Casa Rustica number 1 - it’s that private. The beach is about a 5 minute walk away (you can hear the sound of the waves from the back porch). We walked the beach into town and back a few times for lunch (about 25 minutes each way). We also rented beach bikes from Sharr which were handy for getting around, as we didn’t have a car. The location and the accommodation were perfect. We were fortunate enough to meet Sharr. She is an incredible host who wants to ensure her guests are comfortable. The only caveat we have is that this is a growing community and so there may be some construction happening on new homes nearby.

Muy hermoso lugar, acogedor y con una vista estupenda, el jacuzzi es lo mejor, solo las almohadas estaban sucias, por todo lo demás muy bueno y completo.

We had a great time at Lu’s place. A true switch off from the world. The private pool and indoor/outdoor vibe was amazing. We also got greeted by the cat everyday which made it feel very homely. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. You do need to walk up a short hill (if on foot) to reach it but it’s really worth it! Thanks for having us

What a special place! We felt so lucky to have a spot in the jungle with sounds of the nearby stream, beautiful birds perching in the backyard and a place to relax after a long day of exploring. Jocsan has smartly built two tiny houses next to each other in his backyard. They are positioned in a way that all feels private and the vegetation surrounds you everywhere. In between his house and the tiny houses is a gorgeous back garden. It was a pleasure meeting him and his family and although we weren’t able to take him up on it, he offered to feed us one night! His spot is nestled in an area of town right outside La Fortuna which was lovely to get away from the busy town at the end of the day. But also just a few mins into town for meals and conveniently located to many tourist attractions. Great spot, highly recommend! Thanks so much Jocsan & family for hosting us!

José is the man great stay. He made us feel right at home. Super nice. The property is next level. The view is probably the best view that you will get of the capital at your time i Costa Rica. I highly recommend this stay!!

Everything was picture perfect. It is a wonderful place to lay back and relax. Everything that you need is in walking distance. We walked a lot. Rented a golf cart from them for two days, but enjoyed walking more. Everything is local and there are great restaurants to eat at each day. Each day can be in a different place if you like. Went on a Mayan tour and was picked up at the bnb. It was a perfect vacation, can't say enough good things about the place. Not cheap, but well worth the cost!
