Earth house vacation rentals in Central America

The views, at least in the dry season, are unbeatable. There is a full view of the Arenal volcano from the window of the bed and from the porch. Karen is very friendly and very nice. He helped us with several excursions and gave us very useful tips on things to do in the area. I was always on the lookout for what we might need. We were very comfortable and if we come back it is a place that we will definitely repeat.

This place was very nice. Even with four people, we had a great night's sleep and had enough place. The showers were warm and everything was super clean. We did not have a car but came to San Juan more or less well from the street, by bus or by Hitchhiken. On the way back you have to go up the mountain a little to the house. All in all highly recommended.

The place is really spectacular! The house feels very homely, the hikes are perfect for a morning hike and the host was excellent and very communicative. Highly recommended for the entire AIRBNB community.

Beautiful grounds, comfortable and well furnished space. Just one caution for taller guests - things are geared toward those of standard height. Not really a drawback or a deal breaker, just something to be aware of. We’d happily stay here again next time we’re in the area!

This house was wonderful. We came as a family of five but could have fit so many more. The silampa, reserva forestal y la cascada are all a short drive away. We found the house to be exactly as picture, and Israel helped us check into the house and

Muriel's home was extraordinarily. It it is incredibly unique and has the most beautiful views. Be sure to remember that it is a rustic area but that adds to the charm. Mauricio was super helpful as well. If you are staying near Lago de Coatapeque I highly recommend this home.

The Clouds of the Pital, give what it offers and more, it is an excellent option to connect with nature, the super cool climate, the attention of Tobias and his wife is the best, they are friendly and attentive. It is a different option, being ecological, but totally recommended, it is a unique experience and we can repeat it again, we spend it with peace, quiet, and like at home.

I wish I could rate this location 10 stars!! This is such a beautiful home in such a phenomenal location. Everything in Venao is easily within walking distance with some of the best surfing ever right in your back yard. It is far enough away from the party scene that you can get a good night sleep but close enough that you can party all night long if you would like. The home is extremely well appointed with anything you may need in regards to cooking utensils and basic amenities. We needed nothing outside of food for our stay. Allison and Charlie and their team are all extremely responsive and incredibly helpful with anything you may need. top tier in every single way possible. This is one of the nicest homes in the area for an incredible price. You really cannot do better!!

we just got back from Madre Selva and I am not sure I can find the words. Unique, peaceful, private and the most beautiful location with unforgettable views of jungle, whale's tail beach, ocean and sunrises. The house has everything you need and more. Carolina and her husband are the nicest and the most welcoming people and their breakfasts and dinners were so delicious. We feel so blessed to have experienced Kristopher and Marie’s one-of-a-kind Airbnb accommodation. It is thoughtfully curated for those who are seeking an authentic experience nestled amongst Monteverde’s symbolic cloud forest. From the moment we arrived, they spared no expense in making us feel right at home by explaining all the features and amenities, providing us with a reservoir of information on local activities and for always being accessible. The inclusive daily breakfast was deliciously unforgettable, especially the homemade sourdough avocado toast and açaí bowl. We slept like babies every night and relished the breathtaking views. Marie also offers a morning yoga class which was the perfect way to start off the day. We genuinely enjoyed every second and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to be immersed with nature.

Cassandra was an exceptional host, probably the best host I’ve had on Airbnb. She was very proactive about communication leading up to the trip, as well as during the trip, leading to 0 doubts about anything for the entire stay. Her home is beautiful, well kept, and looks exactly like the pictures, within walking distance of everything in the town center. Entering the property with the security code was easy. Immediately upon arrival you feel you have entered a beautiful sanctuary with lush vegetation, flowers and gorgeous trees. There are also several cozy private sitting areas on the grounds. We had the 2 bedroom adobe cabin right next to the pool. The pool waters were crystal clear and the pool was large with an 8 foot deep end which was wonderful. Our main bedroom was large and the mattress extremely comfortable. The WIFI was wonderful for our needs. We went for walks in the neighborhood, including the local grocery store and the beach and took local taxis and always felt safe and entertained by the amazing friendly Jamaican people. The beach was spectacular and fun for relaxing and swimming. Marlene was a wonderful host. Friendly, informative and always helpful and kind. The only downside is that there is a noisy highway nearby but at night the AC and fan helped a lot. I would definitely stay at Casa de Tierra again!

We stayed in the Lil Negril cottage and loved it! It is set back in the garden and is quiet, private, and lovely. Amenities like a firm, comfortable mattress, always available WIFI, being able to cook in the cottage and the private patio out back made Lil Negril such a nice home for a week. We were hosted by Marlene and found her to be a perfect host. Kind, thoughtful and available if we needed it. We felt completely safe at the resort, with a locked and bolted gate. We also really enjoyed walking around the area. We could walk to the beach, the grocery store, a couple small markets and a couple restaurants. Everyone we met on our walks was friendly. Taxis were easy to get or arrange and two of the drivers we found lived in the neighborhood, which was great! We found the Jamaicans in Runaway Bay to be some of the nicest local people we've met on vacation. Thank you, Marlene for a beautiful vacation to your resort and to Runaway Bay.

The place is wonderful, beautiful cabin, very nice and well-kept gardens, swimming pool and even a small waterfall in the interior space. At the place we connected a lot with nature, and the silence and privacy helped us have a great evening, in addition to the excellent service they provided us. Don't miss the 5-star breakfast!!! Recommendation, plan well to bring your food since there are no restaurant options nearby (only pizza). Totally recommendable.
