Beachfront vacation rentals in Cayton Bay

Great location with stunning views over the golden sands and out to sea, the beach is private and is accessed within 2 minutes via some steps at the end of the gardens or a few minutes in the other direction via an accessible boat ramp. The beach is fab here, its fairly quiet and great for dogs, about a 45 minute walk into Bridlington or 20 mins the other way to Fraisthorpe. Very spacious accommodation with everything you could need. Lovely big lounge and outdoor sitting areas to the front and rear to make the most of the sun.

This is a haven of tranquility. Walk through the doors and you feel at home. So beautifully decorated, absolutely perfect in every way. We are keen cooks, love to spend time in the kitchen making meals and enjoying company of friends. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with all you need. Peter is an outstanding host and offers support instantly. We had a slight glitch with the internet (not Peter’s fault!) and he was so helpful and supportive. We love the place. Seriously LOVE! We will be back and look forward to being back!

Harry was the perfect host ! Even though we didn’t meet Harry , We was arriving earlier so asked if we could check in early and it was no problem at all !! The house was perfect for us all including the dog clear instructions on how the heating worked and to get in the property ! Very fast at replying to any questions we had ! Perfect location as it’s only 5/10 mins to the beach/front , We have a lovely New Year’s Eve with our family there in Harry’s lovely home ! Thank you so very much Harry

Beautifully appointed maisonette situation a close walk to Scarborough town centre and south bay. Well equipped and super clean. The apartment is very stylish and calming. All the finishing touches are carefully thought through to ensure the perfect stay. Dog friendly was a big bonus for us and he enjoyed his stay as much as we did.

My sister and I could not fault our stay at Helen’s beautiful home in Staithes. Helen was so kind to offer us a flexible check out / extra day due to some personal issues regarding my stepdad’s unexpected hospital admission in Newcastle. Could not fault the house, central to all you need in Staithes and about a 3 min walk to the harbourside beach. Cannot recommend this host or home more if you are looking for fully relaxing beautiful stay in Staithes.

Excellent location - being so close to the beach and the town was fantastic and made our holiday so easy and enjoyable. The space was exceptionally well stocked and comfortable and we had a wonderful sunny weekend. Thanks Julie!

A lovely stay in Sue's pristine home, a stones throw from the cliffs and beachfront via an easy zig-zag path. Everything was perfectly clean and welcoming, Sue offered detailed and helpful instructions for checking in and left helpful info about the area. We appreciated the extra little touches that made the stay special - a truly lovely stay, and we look foreward to returning on our next visit!

We only had a short stay but the lodge was beautiful. It was so clean and tidy, Maryam was super helpful and accommodating & we will definitely be returning! I cannot recommend this lodge enough! 10/10 :)

From our first contact until checkout, Ben was so helpful and responsive. The caravan was spotless and had everything we needed for our holiday. The beds were very comfortable and the sofas were perfect for relaxing in the evening, watching TV. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a large fridge-freezer, and it even had an air fryer! Having a shop, restaurant and bar onsite was very handy. We loved that we could walk straight onto the beach, which was so clean and peaceful, well away from the hustle and bustle of Bridlington. The location was perfect for driving out to the coast for bird watching and to Bridlington for an RSPB boat trip to Bempton Cliffs - an experience not to be missed. The cliff walks were beautiful, helped by perfect weather. I would highly recommend Ben's caravan.

This cottage is perfect. We have been coming to the Bay for more than 10 years now and Jill's accommodation is as good if not better than all of them. The Suntrap patio is outside very private, the kitchen is a great size as are the bedrooms. Having 3 bathrooms is also a massive advantage. Taking all this into account plus the extremely competitive price, we will coming back very soon.

We've just returned from a lovely few days at kingfisher cottage. Jo was very helpful in giving us age appropriate recommendations for things to do in the area and allowed us to check in early which really helped in getting us settled for a nice relaxing break. The cottage is beautiful with nice homely touches, comfy beds and everything we needed. Thank you so much Jo. X

Great stay at Tickle Cottage. House had everything we needed. This was our 4th stay at The Bay and would definitely return to Tickle Cottage if we visit again.

We have just spent a lovely few days at Seas The Day. Beverley is very helpful and replies to messages very promptly. The apartment was immaculate and contained everything you might need for your stay. The view is perfect and the situation is very convenient for town, buses and parking outside was a bonus. I have no hesitation in recommending it ....so long as it is still available when we book it again.

Thank you for an wonderful stay. The view is beautiful from the living room. The apartment itself was clean, tidy and of generous size. The beds are comfortable, which helps with the amount of walking we did. Richard has made the apartment a home from home with everything you need!! We always forget something, this time is was a toothbrush charger and there was one to use in the bathroom. It is one of the best air b&b we have stayed at, we cannot wait to return. The gardens opposite were lovely to walk around before heading into town. It's a short drive down to Bempton cliffs, Filey (highly recommend cjs for fish & chips) and Cayton bay. The coffee van called Nova outside the apartment was perfect for when we needed a barista style drink. 9am flat white, the kids loved their milkshakes and the owner was super lovely 😀. It was perfect and we didn't want to leave! there is only 1 small negative and that's the pigeons squarking away from 5am every morning on the metal balcony. 😬

Very beautiful stay with an amazing location, about 15 minute easy walk down to the beach, grocery, pub, food all basically across the street.

Had a lovely stay at Chloe’s place. Very accommodating and helpful hosts. The flat was extremely clean and nice and quiet. Nice and close to the beach too which was amazing!

Anne is an excellent host and the flat was perfect, I didn’t want for anything. 😊 The location was perfect for seeing all of Scarborough on foot and the neighbours were friendly in passing. There’s a chip shop, burger/kebab place plus some local convenience stores very close by. (And the buses and trains are nearby if you want to venture further). I highly recommend this host and her property 🤩

We loved our stay at Lighthouse Cottage, it’s been beautifully renovated by Laura and Bob and we felt really at home. The cottage has a real wow factor as well as being immaculately clean and tidy, with a few welcome extras to make our stay even better. Parking space on the front was great as we arrived late on Friday evening. The town centre, beach and open air theatre are all within easy walking distance. Thank you to Laura and Bob for all the tips on where to go and eat during our time in Scarborough . Amazing hosts 😊 we will be back!

The house in Robin Hoods Bay provided the perfect place for a family holiday. Ideally located in the lower bay near to the beach. Parking nearby a real bonus. It was more spacious than expected and characterfully decorated. The top floor boat bed was a delight. The well equipped kitchen allowed enjoyable meal preparation. Good quality bed linen and towels. If returning to RHB wouldn’t look to stay anywhere else.

Rebecca's cottage is a wonderful home from home. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for a weekend visit or a longer stay. The beds are super comfy. The cottage location is amazing with everything in walking distance. Rebecca was a 1st class host, any questions were answered almost immediately. Rebecca even messaged to say we could check in early. Would i stay at the cottage again...100% i would
