We took our baby for her first trip to Cornwall and this place could not have been more perfect. The views are incredible (even while washing up!), the house is immaculate, very well presented and has pretty much everything you could need! 8 of us were very comfortable in the house with lots of comfy seating areas, very comfortable beds and big dining table. The location is perfect, plenty of coastal walks, multiple beaches to explore, pubs, bakery and driving distance to lots of other Cornwall areas to explore. We will absolutely return!

We had a wonderful week, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, running, walking and surfing in this beautiful location. Highly recommended.

The cottage was pretty much perfect for our long weekend. Both the location in Cawsand and the cottage itself were hugely charming and easy to settle into, with plenty of quirks and character. We were impressed by how well-equipped the kitchen was, and the four of us staying were very happy with how comfortable the house felt. Although small, the living/dining room was extremely cosy and decently furnished enough for us to have a couple more friends over for a games evening. Our host Richard provided clear and informative messages ahead of us arriving at the cottage, making it very easy to feel settled and able to enjoy our time staying in the cottage. I would thoroughly recommend Howton Cottage for couples and small groups wanting to stay in this area. I have already given a work colleague the recommendation to add to their summer holiday options!
