Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Caudéran, Bordeaux

Jacques was so accommodating when we had a delayed arrival. He even sent his son over when we needed sheets for the sofa bed when he was out of town. He lives in the building so he takes good care of everything in this beautiful old building. The apartment is central but quiet. The first night we took the tram but every other trip (St. Emilion and Arcachon) we just walked to the train station to see the city. Excellent boulangerie right next door, La Fabrique.

Everything was perfect.

The apartment is in the old town, shops and many attractions are easily within walking distance. Arriving by car is difficult due to the traffic and the many one-way street regulations. Parking in the area is practically only possible in mostly quite expensive parking garages during the day. The Parklick app can be helpful. The apartment is tastefully decorated with attention to detail and very well equipped. A highlight is the outdoor seating in the atmospheric courtyard - an oasis of tranquility in the middle of the city. The very dedicated landlady gives many helpful tips. We enjoyed our time there to the fullest.

Well located accommodation. You can walk to the center (15 minutes). It is also well connected, with nearby public transport. The small Carrefour nearby is very useful. It's fabulous to have parking in the same building as the apartment. As Catherine warns, it's not for big cars, but in our case (a Toyota Corolla), it was great.

Olivier was one of the best hosts we’ve had across dozens of Airbnb stays. He and Gaetan made a fantastic team. Olivier greeted us on the street and guided us to our parking spot, while Gaetan kindly brought our luggage up to the flat. They then spent a generous half hour with us, walking through city maps and offering excellent recommendations for vineyards, restaurants, and places of interest. The flat itself was ideally located, with convenient parking just steps away and countless restaurants and sights within 500 meters. It was incredibly spacious, featuring soaring ceilings, large windows, a lovely patio with a view, and tasteful decor. Every amenity we could need for a longer stay was thoughtfully provided. Highly recommended!

Everything was great about our stay. We chose this spot based on location to the train station. It was a quick easy walk in the morning. Everything in the apartment was great (including the AC!). My only item of note was we were not prepared for 3 flights of narrow stairs to carry luggage up. We managed but just FYI. Other than that everything was perfect for our quick trip in Bordeaux!

We had a fabulous time at this property in Bordeaux. The location was perfect and we felt right at home. Lea was a very responsive host. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Bordeaux.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Arièle’s apt. Everything was as she described. She was very responsive and always helpful. The location was perfect for walking everywhere. Loved the St. Pierre neighborhood. Her suggestion booklet was super helpful, and supported many choices we were already thinking about. Would definitely recommend the apt.

Perfect place to stay for a Bordeaux stay. We - 3 married couples - felt very comfortable with Julie. The house with balcony in a secluded courtyard situation is located in the atmospheric district of Chartrons - the stroll starts right from the front door. The Garonne - and the nearest tram station - are just a few steps away.

A big thank you to Elvire for hosting us. Very responsive, available and great flexibility in terms of schedules! The listing was fine, matches the photos. Neighborhood both quiet and yet very close to the hyper center. We found a parking space right in front of the house!

HOW AIRBNB USED TO BE!! Stay in an apartment that reflects its owners - a well provided for kitchen (include olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper, coffee and tea making facilities and pods/bags); decorations on the walls; soap and shampoo in the bathrooms; and good towels. This is NOT the antiseptic and uninspiring investor AirBnB that now is common. Thank you Celine for making your home available. The layout is quirky - set over three levels with the second bedroom being a studio apartment bed and big bathroom at the ground floor level next to the front door. But it worked for the four of us. Main bedroom is on the intermediate level. Noise was not a problem. Kitchen and living area is on the top floor, and includes a small but enjoyable outdoor balcony. We enjoyed sipping an aperitif as the sun faded. Celine also has a very useful local guidebook. If you are inclined, the local wine shop and small grocery store are both excellent. Access to the heart of Bordeaux is easy.

Good large house overall - good spot for a family. The location is very residential so not much to do around and not super close to the city centre by foot. The parking is good for 1 car so if you are multiple families it may be a bit tough. The house was clean, good appliances and amenities in the kitchen so perfect to cook. The outdoor space is nice and adds a plus to the house. The host is not super fast to respond and the check in is very late so to note if you have children as you can’t enter before 5pm. Very kids friendly and enough space for families to be around and feel at ease.

No other words but simply OUTSTANDING!! From our amazing welcome to the stunning house, we honestly could not of asked for anything more. Tebo was there to greet us on arrival and was always on the other end of the phone if we had a query regarding the home to recommendations in Bordeaux. We can’t wait to revisit this home soon, felt like home from home. Our suggestion would be to ignore any bad reviews and visit this stunning home.

Great weekend at Mathieu's, the apartment is clean and very well equipped. The building is quiet, secure and you can park your car there. I highly recommend it!

A perfect stay! Our recent stay was flawless. Bertrand's apartment is well equipped, meticulously clean, and in a central location. Bertrand met us upon check-in to ensure we could easily access the building and then explained how everything worked. He was very proactive with all communications. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Fabulous apartment and lovely host! Veronique greeted us upon arrival, helped us with our bags and get into the parking garage. She showed us around the lovely apartment and incredible stocked kitchen. The terrace was magnificent but a bit too cold to enjoy it as much as we hoped. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, groceries, etc. Unit was quiet and very comfortable. Bathrooms were exceptional for France/Europe as they were large with nice showers. She even had wash cloths!!! We highly recommend this apartment and host - such an enjoyable stay.

The instructions for entering the apartment were very clear. There is a bus stop in front of the building and the tram is a 15-minute walk away. The accommodation perfectly matches the description given in the listing and the photos. Natacha was very responsive and accommodating in our exchanges. Recommended.
