Waterfront vacation rentals in Castro Urdiales

Asier’s place is in such a great location and we thoroughly enjoyed eating meals on the balcony with fabulous views of the beach and ocean beyond. Fantastic if you love to spend time at the beach and so close to the beautiful old town of Castro Urdiales. It’s also so easy to catch a bus to Bilbao and catch the sights there. Asier is lovely and very helpful and attentive.

It was better than expected!!! We always look for superhosts or guest recommendations for our trips because it is a symbol of guarantee. The accommodation was ideal for my family, the detail of the breakfast products was a success and more than expected. There was nothing missing. We were going to a soccer tournament and we had to take the car every day to go to the fields, so the location was not significant for us. The subway was close and it was ideal to go to Bilbao to visit it. Highly recommended☺️😜

Nice apartment and village. Very central. Supermarket 2 minutes walk away, there are also many restaurants (not all good). Lots of room at night. It's difficult to park, but Eva offers parking, so it's better to take it. Highly recommended for a weekend.

The host Aitor was really helpful and friendly, the place was exactly as I expected. The one watch out is there’s a lack of late night public transportation if you go out in Bilbao itself.

Beautiful accommodation with exceptional panoramic views and the only "music" is the sound of the waves. A real change of scenery. The apartment was just as I described it. Luis was friendly and communicative at all times, even giving us recommendations for the area. We had no problems parking, even though it's in a very central area. We definitely recommend this place, we wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Everything is taken care of in detail and you can see the care with which it is designed to make guests feel at home. The surroundings are even more special: a charming town of Cantabria, with an idyllic landscape that invites you to disconnect, breathe pure air and enjoy the silence. We also want to highlight David, the host, for his closeness, kindness and availability at all times. It is very much appreciated to find people like that when you travel. It's been a wonderful stay. A charming house in a beautiful neighborhood

Space was spotless, views were incredible, beaches walkable. Gorka was incredibly responsive and Igor made checking in a breeze. We picked up fresh fish and steak from the market in Bilbao and really enjoyed the charcoal grill. We loved watching the tides roll in and out of the estuary from the deck. The view changes by the hour!

For anyone going with dog(s). Two long walkable paths along the river for your dog(s) just across national road (50-100) from the house itself. Izaskun is animal lover, and she is super tolerant in that sense. The yard in front of the house has wall so if your dog is not cangaroo you are good. Everything about the place is more that good, not to write more superlatives than all 5 star notes I left to Izaskun. Nice weekend - we will probably repeat.

The apartment is very nice and comfortable. It has everything you need to have a good stay. Mari is a very good host, friendly, always willing to advise you about the area, attentive to what you may need... Worth repeating!

Perfect house with everything you need and the porch and garden of 10. The beds and the sofa are very comfortable. The location between the beaches and the village on a very quiet street in front of the golf course makes it an ideal place to disconnect. The enclosure is totally fenced so it was perfect to have the dog loose and enjoy it as much as we do. The owner has been attentive from the first moment. Undoubtedly a place to repeat.

Our stay was unbeatable. Located on the beach of Berria, (just 2 minutes from the walking sand), perfect for families who want to enjoy the beach or for surfers. The area is very quiet and noisy, but if you want more movement in 5 minutes you are in the center of Santoña where you have all kinds of services. The accommodation is equipped with all kinds of details, complete kitchen battery, internet, table rack and storage spaces. The beds are very comfortable. All super clean and well organized. Sandra is very good host, always attentive and available to make everything perfect and offering great recommendations on places to visit and restaurants in the area. You can tell he cares about every detail to make the experience unforgettable. I will definitely be back on my next trip, I recommend it 100%.

Very nice, clean and well-equipped apartment. Perfect for two people, the bathroom is somewhat small. Very equipped and modern kitchen. Everything was very clean. Laura was always attentive and decisive. Next to the beach, restaurants and supermarkets. Keep in mind that it is on the second floor without an elevator, not recommended for people with reduced mobility. The indoor parking is fine, but since there are no designated spaces during busy times such as summer or long weekends, you run out of space, and it is almost impossible to park outside. We went on a long weekend and it was already full, so in summer it can be crazy. I'd go back, but not in summer

The apartment was super clean and exactly as shown in the photos. Very well located in an area with lots of bars and restaurants but zero noise. And the area, of course, is beautiful.

Hosts were extremely helpful. You get the ground floor & basement of their large family home to yourselves. Plenty of room. Cake & wine on arrival. Perfect base to see the Basque region & watch your team win the Europa League! Eskerrik asko!

José Ramón's house is a great place to enjoy a few days of rest and beach! It has everything you need, the beds are very comfortable (which, together with the tranquility of the area, makes your rest perfect), it has a wonderful garden and, in addition, everything couldn't be cleaner! The location is very convenient to be able to walk anywhere, but far from the area that can be busier (now everything was super quiet) and having the garage space is another great advantage so you don't have to worry about the car. And, in addition to all this, José Ramón is a very great man. Thank you very much for everything! P.S.: if you go with kids (and, if not, also :-D), the beaches of Isla are another great plus!
