this property was absolutely amazing and was close by to everything you need, local shop is a 2min walk, taxi rank pretty much just across the road and the park is an easy 3 min walk away, the owner was quick in response and was always helpful when needed, would highly recommend this spot and would definitely book again

Bear Cottage is a lovely cosy cottage with beautiful views all around, well equipped with a large enclosed garden. I had a very relaxing stay with my family and two dogs. Ruth and Monica were very responsive and helpful and our stay was made extra special with daily visits from Bailey, a super friendly golden retriever. My dogs and brother had a great time playing with her. Welcome basket on arrival with fruit, wheaten bread and fresh eggs was much appreciated. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely beautiful location, great location for the Mournes, short drive to Castlewellan & Rathfrialand and a bar within a 15 minute walk. What more could you ask for! The cottage was very clean and comfortable, and there was everything you need for your stay. Mary left a welcome pack with crisps, bagels, and sweets etc. there was fresh milk in the fridge. She gave me good advice for places to visit & where to get a good Chinese takeaway. After a stressful week I’ve had a very relaxing, enjoyable stay & I’d be very happy to return. Thanks for everything!

4 of us stayed at yew tree barn on the 18th April for a night. As soon as we got there we felt right at home, the heating was already on, the place was clean, warm and had everything that we needed. We ordered pizza from little Os and it was up there with the nicest pizzas we have had then straight into the hot tub and sauna. Both were immaculate, beds where clean and comfortable and to top it all off there was an option for an Eunoia therapist to come to the barn which we all availed of massages. The massages were unbelievable. Overall we will definitely be back but for longer!
