PaulRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great service from Christine, very helpful and always replied promptly. The house is in a great location no matter what you want to do. The enclosed garden was great for the dogs and the house was very clean/tidy and had everyting needed to feel right at home straight away after the 10hour drive. I will definitely be in touch to stay again with my family.

HeidiRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was our second stay at Nick's house. As before, Nick was responsive to messages beforehand. We were able to park right outside the house. It was all clean and tidy as before. Nick kindly added an extra guitar so both my kids had one. It was very convenient for us as we were in Newport for the marathon.

A very clean and comfortable stay. The house and gardens were immaculately presented. We felt right at home and had a relaxing stay. The house is located in a quiet street. You can be on a beach in 5 mins walk and the famous Barry island beach is a lovely coastal stroll away. We came on a Gavin and Stacey Pilgrimage. Clevedon is lovely and this Airbnb is in a particularly nice part. A block from pier and foreshore, and a few doors from a quaint traditional suburban pub. Best though is 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants on Hill Road. Nice decent local shops that are not chains. Junior Poon, Vintage and Vine, Scoozi and Le French corner all good. The house is spacious and well kept … a great base to explore locally area and beyond.

Walkers Log Cabin summer or winter cozy

AsiaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Wonderful little place with everything you need for a weekend away. In a really good location that is peaceful (really enjoyed listening to the birds!) but a very quick drive to a big Asda and a few fast food spots, so not super isolated. The cabin has a microwave, kettle, fridge and sink and we didn't feel it was lacking facilities. It's decorated very nicely, and the heater keeps it nice and warm inside. The bed is comfy and the shower is also very nice. We had a couple of local walks and then got lucky with a sunny day to explore the Brecon Beacons and climb Pen y Fan, which was ~30min drive away. The host is very friendly and was able to let us in when we'd arrived a little earlier than expected. She also left us some food essentials and creme eggs for Easter which was very appreciated! All in all a very good value for money place and a perfect spot to explore the Welsh countryside from.

Great stay! Very cosy vibe, friendly touch with a personalised message and Welsh cakes on arrival! Was great having fresh towels there, nice clean bedding, shower gel and shampoo in the shower was a great addition. Enough seats for the 5 of us, plenty of tableware, kitchen facilities very easy to use! Food delivery was available to the address. Loved Aberdare park a quick walk away, it was beautiful and perfect for taking the dog out and loved the guest book with local recommendations! The four waterfalls walk was perfect for a short trip! Overall a lovely stay, I was definitely recommend and happily stay again!

Our stay was great, the house was exactly as described. Such a quirky home with lots of personality and perfect for our girls weekend in Cardiff. We made a mistake whilst booking on the number of people and Taz was accommodating and helped us to rectify it. We would recommend to anyone looking for a stay close to the city centre.
