Absolutely loved staying here! We were greeted by Barbara who was very friendly and helpful. Also greeted by her friendly cat and dog! Perfect parking for the motorbike in a private yard behind closed gates. Excellent location for exploring Carcassonne on foot. Only a couple of minutes walk to the medieval city and maybe 20 minutes into the newer part of town. Everything you could want in the accommodation including a washing machine. Carcassonne is an amazing place and we 100% recommend staying with Barbara if you are lucky enough to find it available.

Nous avons passé une excellente nuit chez Morgane durant notre périple à vélo le long du canal du Midi , nous avons profité du jardin pour nous reposer avant de reprendre notre voyage, nous y reviendrons certainement. Celest et Nathalie.

Une très belle maison, bien équipée, très propre. La piscine rien à dire ! Si vous voulez passer des vacances détendues, nous vous recommandons d’y aller les yeux fermés !!! Je remercie Christophe pour sa réactivité et sa gentillesse !

Accueil très chaleureux de Viviane , est à la disposition de ses hôtes, Petites intentions à notre arrivée avec des produits locaux.Hyper sympa ! Logement bien agencé avec 3 belles chambres, deux salles de bain. Bien équipé également en ustensiles. Pour les amoureux de la nature : endroit calme pour se reposer avec vue magnifique sur les coteaux. Nous recommandons vivement.

A wonderful location overlooking the walla of the historic city. Well appointed with all you need to have a fantastic stay. Great to have outside space and a very sociable kitchen perfect for a days away woth friend or family. The fruit and patisseries were si welcome. Sixtine and Christine were wonderful hosts and so responsive. Highly recommended!

Séjour très agréable dans cette jolie maison bien équipée et bien agencée. Le lotissement est très calme, le jardin très agréable, nous avons pu profiter de bons moments de détente dans cette maison. Les hôtes sont très réactifs et disponibles. Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Je recommande !

A hidden rustic gem on a farm with vineyards dotted about. Mylene couldn't have been more helpful with a problem that we had. With the aid of translate, we managed to communicate in person, but mostly through airbnb. Their lovely pool was a delight to rertire to in the heat of the evening. It's not luxury, but charming, comfortable and had what we wanted for an escape to the country. We would definitely reccomend to our friends and family. Thank you Mylene and family. Great location. We had bicycles and wanted direct access to the Canal du Midi. Myriam’s place is right next to a small bridge which allows you to cross over from the apartment on the north side to the cycle route on the south side.

Cédric is great - stuck around to help us resolve a few unpredictable issues on arrival, and offered great support throughout the stay. Awesome location and views. Very easy to walk into the city, and lots of outdoor space to relax in. 100% recommend. Do not visit Chateux de Gaure winery though - it was a disaster. Should’ve stuck with Cédric’s recommendation!

A fantastic week at this lovely property. The house was really well equipped and was beautifully furnished. The hosts were really quick to respond when we had an issue with the cooker and they were incredibly helpful and friendly. The view from the house was amazing and the pool was very much appreciated in the summer heat. We can't wait to return

Lovely apartment, everything you need for a short stay. 10 minute walk to the city centre. Parking with the apartment was a bonus. Would highly recommend.

We so enjoyed our stay. The flat is well located 5 mins from the train station. Easy check in and everything is to hand. Though it is over the Carrefour, you are not aware of the supermarket, except it is so convenient. Looking down the market square, there are many restaurants to choose from for eating or drinking, or sit on the balcony and watch the day/night unfold. The flat has everything needed for a very comfortable stay. The old town is about 25 mins walk past shops and restaurants, then over the old bridges. We highly recommend and would love to come back again.

Nous avons trouvé le logement magnifique et fidèle à la description. Le livret d'accueil était un plus, très complet. Le jardin est très joli, confortable avec tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un séjour reposant. Nous avons été étonné par le calme malgré la position en plein centre. Nous avons trouvé une place de parking publique gratuite à 10 min à pieds. Toutes commodités proche de l'appartement, très beau marché le samedi matin à 5 min à pieds. Nous sommes venus avec notre chien et le logement était d'une propreté irréprochable. Cerise sur le gâteau Barbara et Emma sont adorables. Merci pour ce beau weekend que nous n'oublierons pas !

We had a great time at Charlotte & Laurent’s place. Their kindness and proactively helpful attitude, combined with the forest environment, created a very pleasant feeling across the stay. As part of a former farm, the property is a traditional stone building which has been recently renovated in a nice way, with a lot of thought given to making you feel comfortable and welcome. The house is very clean, well equipped, including a nice terrasse and a functioning wood stove in the living room. The hosts also raise goats, our kids could feed them and we could attend the milking session. The property is located in a beautiful countryside, and a good base for visiting the Sidobre area with all its picturesque rocks. Highly recommended.

Nous avons apprécié l’environnement nature et le cadre atypique qui est reposant et apaisant. Le grand plus : le bain nordique A noter des literies de qualités ainsi que le Linge de lit et de toilette. le deuxième plus est le pavillon très agréable. nous avons passé un bon séjour ce week-end

Extremely clever architecture and design combine to provide an amazingly stylish and comfortable place; Gauthier’s own designs are unique and give the home its impressive quality and class. Gauthier is also the best host we have encountered; highly proactive, always very responsive and full of excellent recommendations - especially for outstanding restaurants! - which added enormous value to our happy stay in Carcassonne. You’re crazy if you do not book L’Arpete.
