Take a boat, or walk to Torno to find a bar, cafe, shop, and restaurants. Como is a short drive, and public transport is close by. L' appartamento dista km 5 da Como, km 2 da Torno, km 40 da Milano, km 38 da Lugano. E' raggiungibile con i mezzi di trasporto pubblico : gli autobus C30 C31 C32 con partenza ogni ora circa dalla stazione ferroviaria Como San Giovanni , Como Lago Ferrovie Nord o da Piazza Matteotti in direzione Como- Bellagio, impiegano circa 8 min per raggiungere la fermata Blevio - Decorazioni Savio, distante 100 m circa dall' abitazione. Alternativa piacevole al trasporto pubblico tradizionale può essere l'uso dei battelli della navigazione del Lago di Como, con partenza da Piazza Cavour in direzione Torno, da dove camminando per circa 15 min raggiungerete la destinazione. MI PERMETTO DI CONSIGLIARE VIVAMENTE LA PIU' PICCOLA ED ECONOMICA VETTURA PER MUOVERSI COMODAMENTE, POICHE' I TRASPORTI PUBBLICI ED I TAXI NON SONO CONFORTEVOLI NELLE NOTRE ZONE The apartment is 5 km from Como, 2 km from Torno, 40 km from Milan, 38 km from Lugano. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

Cà del Bif si affaccia sul molo del borgo di Nesso; la casa risale al 1600 ed è la residenza delle nostre vacanze da generazioni. Qua tutti noi abbiamo imparato a nuotare, praticato vari sport acquatici, fatte molte escursioni per poi ritrovarci, la sera tutti insieme sul molo a pescare. Nel 1925 Hitchcock ha girato qui The Pleasure Garden. L'appartamento è di circa 50 mq con camera da letto, bagno e living. Cà del Bif si raggiunge percorrendo una strada ciotola medioevale (200 m dalla chiesa)

We had a wonderful stay at Paola’s place! The apartment was exactly as described, with all the amenities we needed and a beautiful view that made our mornings extra special. Paola was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, and her son also provided us with great local tips and suggestions. We truly enjoyed our time here and would gladly stay again. We booked Ugo's home for one reason.... the view. It did not disappoint. We drank our morning coffees and ate our meals on the balcony. We actually went to a restaurant with an amazing view, but after we left, we stated we should have just cooked and ate outside the house since it is so private. Ugo provided coffee, which was highly appreciated! We bought the wrong coffee at store. The fruit platter was amazing and ate at every meal. Oh, I made orange juice and was delicious! We were given directions to free parking in bellagio. Plus, we got a flat tire and Ugo helped direct is where to repair it. Overall, go for the view amd don't leave the house! Unless you want to walk to town to get coffee, fresh meats, and gelato but go directly back!

Unterkunft war absolut ausreichend uns gut zu erreichen ( zu Fuß recht steil bergauf aber das war uns vorher bereits bewusst). Sehr nahe auch parken problemlos möglich. Gastgeberin war immer schnell erreichbar und freundlich.

Ein toller Gastgeber, ein wunderschönes Rustico in einem wunderbaren Ort. Wir waren mit zwei Kindern auf der Durchreise, wir alle wären gerne länger geblieben. Florent hat auf alle Anfragen z.b. für einen eventuell früheren Check-In, schnell geantwortet. Die Ausstattung ist großzügig und die Einrichtung gemütlich. Außerdem ist es sehr ruhig und man kann super entspannen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
