House vacation rentals in Cartago

The house was in a private location, the owner and her husband were very responsive. They also had a couple that were there property managers that were able to let us in and check us out. We traveled with a large group and one of our family members forgot something at the house, when I contacted them they then informed me of other very expensive items that were left in their home, they sent me a picture of all of it. The property managers held on to it until we came back through town to fly out, they met up with us to return it and everything was accounted for. Truly a wonderful feeling for such honesty. 10 out of 10 would recommend!!

Jorge is incredible, our flight from Panama to Costa Rica had mechanical difficulties so we didn't get to Costa Rico until 10:30 p.m. After picking up a rental (which I highly recommend if you are staying here) it was after midnight. We had some difficulty finding the house Jorge came out to meet us rather than just do directions. The house was very comfortable and the bathroom including the amenities were fabulous!

A great house, it had much more than we expected, my 12-year-old son says it's the best we've been to, Uber Eats available and fast, the best thing is that it's in SJ and as other reviews say the heated pool is a 100

We love Bejuco as a family, it is central, beautiful, the condominium has everything you need to have a nice family vacation. The house was impeccable, the perfect pool to share as a family. Mayra always gave us clear directions and was helpful at all times. Our third time in this house and we really love her, very comfortable.

Comfortable and family place to enjoy in peace

This villa is a perfect getaway! Spacious, clean rooms with private bathrooms, views of the pool and nature. The wildlife, like iguanas and parrots, adds to the charm. Einny, the host, is super friendly! It's about an hour from main spots, but the drive is easy. Great for relaxing, bird-watching, and enjoying Costa Rica's beauty. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved the place. Beautiful home. Description was accurate. Keep in mind there is someone next to your space in the same building and you can hear them if they make noises (singing, whistling etc). This is in a small city so there are dogs that bark and can be heard in the house, sometimes during the night and early in the mornings. However, we loved the spot and would definitely come back if we are in the area. Great space for the 4 weeks we stayed there. A grocery store with essentials a short walk from the house. Aida’s sister Dinorah kept in touch and checked on us often. She does not speak English but with google translate l we were able to communicate clearly. Definitely recommend.

We had a great time! The place was in a private and relax condo, really close to the beach, and the area was not crowded!

Our third stay at one of Frank’s homes. We have stayed twice at the home next door to this. As always, it is a great pleasure. Both homes that Frank has in this complex are beautiful, clean, exactly like the pictures, and safe. Frank is an excellent host; kind, helpful, and responsive. I have never stayed in one place more than once, let alone three times…except these homes! We are planning a fourth stay for later in the year. If you want a safe, clean, beautiful, AC filled home…this is it. What a blessing to come back here!

amazing place with beautiful views including toucans in the mornings and monkeys right down the street! very spacious and i honestly felt right at home. the host helped me by getting a birthday cake for one of my guests and helped us get home when the road was closed. they were a saving grace and made our stay worth it. thank you guys for everything!

It's not the first time, and we hope it's not the last time we stay here. We really love it for the comfort, price and customer service. We will definitely be back!

I can't say enought about this house, and most importantly the host Karla! The property and view are hard to find, lovely..It was perfect for our unique needs and changes. Karla was incredibly responsive, communicative and helpful. As an Airbnb owner, I can't emphasize enough how unique and wonderful this place is. Stay here, you will not be disappointed.

The host was very responsive in her communications and the placed fit the descriptions and photos. Looked even better in person. The housekeepers were very friendly and accomodating to our needs, though the house had everything that we needed. Definitely would recommend this place. There is a food mart right down the road, walking distance for food and drinks. The streets were walkable and felt very safe.

This home was absolutely beautiful. A modern/contemporary style home with open air concept and a beautiful backyard. Star fruit, cas, and a type of orange tree, I was able to pick fresh fruit and make smoothies everyday. Backyard is very active with hummingbirds, butterflies and other birds that visit daily. We spent a lot of time on the patio. There is a roof top deck for spectacular night time views. The neighborhood is nice, we were there over the weekend and it seemed as if on Sunday it really came to life with people working in their yards, music playing, children in the park across the street. There is a Pali market & other stores within walking distance, it may not be a walk for all as it is on an incline. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook a meal, modern appliances, Ninja blender, a refrigerator with an ice maker, filtered Brita water pitcher, etc. The home was very clean and well maintained. David is an excellent host and very helpful.

Beautiful place, the view was great! The house is right next to another one that you cannot see in the pictures and you do see people come and go but it didn't bother us. The bed is extremely comfortable and the small pool is perfect to cool down.

April’s home was absolutely perfect for what me and my partner needed. We wanted a serene spa like experience without having to go to a lot of places. We had everything we needed on our 4 day stay. There were great fresh markets on the way so we stopped for food and never had to leave out once we arrived. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was great. April and Tony’s welcome was warm and friendly as well as their dogs Maisa and Graco. We live on the Caribbean side and wanted to spend time in the serene mountains for a cooler and relaxing experience. This will be our get away place when we need to take a break.

The accommodation is as described in the listing. We stayed in the green house and understand that the place will become a complex, but Hosam respected our reservation and we were able to enjoy the place privately. The house is very comfortable, with air conditioning, a fan and TV in all the rooms. The kitchen is well-equipped with a microwave, blender, electric oven, and the kitchen itself. The pool is beautiful, very well maintained with an island for young children, sun loungers and an umbrella. The house has a grill with a small bar set to the side. It has a parking lot for 4 cars in front. I must highlight Hosam's attention and we were lucky enough to coincide with Sonny who gave us excellent attention, further improving our stay. We will definitely be back to stay with Hosam

Uncomplicated overnight stay in a really nice and special house. Great communication with Jorge. Can we highly recommend it:)
