Monthly Rentals in Carreira

After a week of hotel stays it was so nice to decompress in a home and do laundry! It was just the 2 of us and the space was much more than enough. A bigger party would be very comfortable. Appreciated the welcome email which included instructions on how to use all the appliances. Request- add in a true American coffee maker. The fact that the home is completely updated added to our comfort level. There are great spaces to relax and we enjoyed what the home offered and loved the showers. This location in Central Portugal is in a sleepy hood. There is a corner market but it doesn’t offer much. Arriving late, we were able to get a few essentials for our first morning such as milk & bananas. The 2 towns we decided to day trip to were Coimbra & Aveiro. Both are approximately 1 hour away. While it was a bit farther than I hoped, it was a nice chance to see the countryside & the A17 is so easy to drive. We were quite impressed with the freeways. Would consider a return with more guests!

It is a very quiet town at least on the date we have gone ,in summer I think it is full since the beach is beautiful ,the people are very hospitable and without knowing Portuguese we understood each other phenomenal , we will return in summer that we surely had a great time

Catarina is very kind and helpful, and her family is also. The apartment is cozy, clean and well equipped, steps away from the wonderful sand beach of Praia da Vieira. The neighborhood is full of super restaurants and cafes. Parking is available in the parking spaces in front of the apartment. There are shops, ATMs, and even a laundromat nearby. The people here are kind and helpful! The price/value is also excellent! I highly recommend it! Thank you so much Catarina! ❤️

The house is exactly as shown in the photos, everything was very clean and the area is close to the beaches of Leiria and Pedrogão, 40 minutes from Nazaré and a little further from Peniche. Matas Nacional is just 10 minutes away, so if you like cycling or hiking, it's a perfect place. Communication with Nicole and Isabel was perfect at all times, always helpful and resolving any questions or queries. A pleasure to stay at your house for a few days.
