Great location close to town and very walkable. We had a great stay and felt right at home. The kitchen is well stocked to create a delicious meal. The furniture is super comfy and all of the mattresses were comfortable. No complaints. Highly recommend staying here.

My son and I visited Marquette in late September. Donna's house was a great place to stay. Clean, spacious, and well equipped. It's in a peaceful neighborhood but convenient to downtown Marquette. We took several day trips both east and west along beautiful Lake Superior. It was a wonderful vacation!

Great location! Loved the recommendations and the only place I’ve stayed where I didn’t need to do anything before check out :) The beds were comfy and plentiful and the house was super kid friendly, even a toy box that my boys loved playing with. Super close to town and Marquette Mountain Resort as well as all the other fun hikes and activities.

This beautiful cottage on the shore of Lake Michigan was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It featured a deck and shared outdoor games and equipment. The kitchen was fully furnished, and designated parking was just a few steps from the cottage. The hosts were friendly and quick to respond to any questions. I would highly recommend this place for a short or long term stay. It is a gem!

Lake Cottage: Private with Sunset Views

The Lake Cottage was exactly as pictured - clean, nostaglic, modernized amentities and loads of vintage charge. We booked last minute for a New Years Eve hurrah with my husband and two children (ages 3 & 8), and my only regret is not staying longer. We snowboarded, ice-fished, played board games, did puzzles... and simply enjoyed our time together. It was restorative and the cottage is conducive to slowing down and savoring each moment. The property (albiet Winter) was spacious and felt private, tucked down the long(er) drive with a single neighbor in sight. Elizabeth, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful. 10/10, will probably book again!

Magnificent lake view and the perfect deck to enjoy the view! You can actually see the sunrise in the morning. Ample space with all the necessities. Like some of the reviews, the house is a bit old but it does not affect the quality of your stay. The only thing kind of bothers me (tiny bit) is the kitchen light. It’s relatively dark so not very convenient to cook when it’s dark outside. Otherwise, this place is a gem!

We loves our stay! The home is SO cute. And every detail was considered to make the home dog friendly. I love the proactive communication from Jacky to make sure we were taken care of at every turn. This home is the perfect quaint cottage... and feela JUST at home! We loved EVERY minute of our stay. The lake views were also incredible!

October 19-22, 2024. We loved staying at your beautiful, clean and comfy cottage! It was the perfect landing spot for our amazing Pictured Rocks Cruise, checking in a bit early to get to the cruise on time was perfect! We enjoyed bopping around the waterfalls and 12 mile beach. A Dream Getaway at Britta's Lakefront Cabin! We had the most incredible stay at Britta’s cabin on the lake in the Upper Peninsula! If you're looking for a relaxing, picturesque retreat with a perfect balance of nature and comfort, this cabin is the place to be. Absolutely loved this trip. A wonderful welcome basket with wine and snacks was waiting for us upon arrival. We made full use of the fireplace to stay nice and warm during the cold, snowy weekend. Being right along the river was amazing and made for a beautiful view. We utilized the snow shoes to walk along the frozen river and creek which was extremely fun. This was the best cabin we’ve stayed in and we will be sure to recommend to anyone looking for a great place to spend the weekend.

Even in March, you can’t beat walking through the back yard dunes straight onto the Lake Superior beach. The house has great space and splits well for 2 families to each have some of their own space. Tons of toys and games for the kiddos too!

Shelly was super responsive and overall an amazing hostess. She helped us with any questions we had before the trip and the couple we had during. She always responded within 30 mins of us reaching out :) The cabin was exactly as described in the listing and had everything we needed! Plus it was right around the corner from Ski Brule so we never had to travel to ski. Would highly recommend staying here- we will be coming back!

Me and my family enjoyed our time here. There were tons of stuff to do especially for the kids. Jason was super proactive which made communicating with him easy. This place definitely instilled beautiful memories with my family. Definitely worth checking out!
