Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Carlsbad

It was a great place for our one night stay. Walkable to all the things we needed to get to in the evening and in the morning. Great breakfast place close by.

Perfect place to stay while exploring Guadalupe Mountain and Carlsbad Cavern. For the same price as staying in a hotel, we got three bedrooms, a full kitchen, laundry, a living area, a dining area, and a full bathroom. For those who are seeking high end luxury, this house isn’t it, but it is not advertised as such. The listing and the actual property are perfectly in sync. We would stay here again.

The place was very nice. We would like to plan a trip there again maybe next year and if it is available, we will stay there again. The couches are comfortable, the master bed which I slept in was so comfortable I fell right to sleep.

This was our home away from home while visiting family in Carlsbad. The home is spotless and felt so warm and welcoming. The beds are comfortable. There are plenty towels. The kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed the front porch swing and the backyard patio. Mary Kay and Randy are wonderful hosts. We’ve already booked a return trip!

Great place for the caverns!

The place was clean and spacious. Just perfect for our family.

We had a great stay after visiting the Carlsbad Caverns! We liked that there were games in the closet available and coffee and snacks out as well. We walked to the Blue House the next morning for breakfast and the neighborhood was quite pleasant! Would recommend as a lovely stay!

We stayed at Katherine's place with our three children as a base to explore Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe National Park! The property was clean, looked exactly like the pictures, and had lots of space for us to spread out. Well stocked with things to do in the evening (excercise equipment, games and puzzles) and near a nice park by the water. Katherine was super responsive and welcoming. If we ever come back to Carlsbad, we would definitely stay here again!

I was looking for a unique place to stay, and this room definitely lived up to my expectations!! All of the decor was perfectly placed, I loved the fireplace, and I enjoyed reading how the room got its name. After a long day of driving, soaking in the hottube was the highlight of the night!! It helped us relax and unwind at the end of a long day. I recommend going to the Blue House Cafe & Bakery across the street for breakfast. The staff were super friendly, and nice. The food, and coffee was a great way to start our day. They are open Monday-Saturday. If you stay the night on a Saturday a tray of breakfast foods and fruit will be put in your room on Saturday, so you'll have breakfast for Sunday morning. Every detail was thought out to maximize your stay experience. It was truly an amazing experience, and I highly recommend this place! I also recommend eating dinner at the Yellow Brix Restaurant. There was a little bit of a wait time, but totally worth it!

Beautiful home, very quiet and clean, everything we needed to feel at home. Host was welcoming and responsive. Our kids loved the games and puzzles. 30min drive to Carlsbad Caverns.

I had never been to Carlsbad before. The place was perfect for myself, but the area around it was not what I expected. I felt safer there rather than staying a Motel in town.

Had an awesome stay at West of the Pecos! Very clear instructions. My mom and I came for a mother/daughter weekend of hiking the Guadalupe mountains and seeing the caverns and this was the perfect resting place. Cozy living room for winding down and watching tv with a glass of wine! Shower is small but certainly manageable. Would absolutely recommend to anyone going to Carlsbad!

This place was easy to find, only about 20-30 minutes to Carlsbad caverns. It was close to food and gas. If you’re sound sensitive there was a dog barking all night one night so be aware. The place was clean and comfortable and Sandrine responded quickly with any questions.
