Monthly Rentals in Carlops

Me and my boyfriend stayed for 3 nights and loved every second. It’s in such a quiet spot off the main road but not too far for a drive to explore Edinburgh centre. The sauna was absolutely lovely to use and in pristine condition like it had only just been built. The barn itself was done to such a high value and we felt very cozy with the fire on 😊 overall 100/10. Couldn’t recommend more, especially for hikes! The perfect balance of city and nature 😊🍃

We have just stayed at Laura's place and as a family of 4 (2 Adults, a 6 and 9 year old) we all loved it and felt it was one of the best places we have ever stayed. The cottage is beautiful and has everything you need. The location is private and has outstanding views. It was just what we imagined it to be like. It is close enough to Edinburgh City to visit the Zoo, Castle and Museum but far enough out to feel peaceful and remote and enjoy lots of walks. As well as doing some local walks we visited Pentland Hills which was beautiful. We would highly recommend Laura's place and we definitely plan to visit again.

Very comfortable stay in peaceful and beautiful surrounding. Easy transport to central tourist area of Edinburgh. Places to eat locally and facilities in the nearby town of Peebles which is a short drive away. Wendy our host was very welcoming and on hand to chat about the local area and places to eat and visit. The accommodation was very well equipped and designed, with a fast wi-fi link.

Really beautiful place and honestly easy to get in and out of even without a car! There is a bus and although it’s not frequent it is reliable if you just make sure to plan ☺️ Leo was very friendly and kind and so accommodating. I will highlight what someone else mentioned: unfortunately the WIFI isn’t the best and there’s no signal because of the location so if you’re planning on working remotely while staying here, would make sure you keep that in mind. Other than that, loved our stay here!
