Monthly Rentals in Carena

A spectacular little cottage in the mountains, Leo was amazingly friendly and greeted us by the local restaurant with a glass of regional wine! Bring groceries- it is well-equipped with everything one might need for a humble mountain existence, but the last supermarket is a good 45 mins drive away. Loved the view, the remoteness and the genuine warmth with which we were welcomed to Tessin. Keep an eye out for the cycling trophies adorning the low exposed timber beamed ceilings - they belong to Leo's glory days!

Light, bright, clean and comfortable. Comfortable bed, good kitchen with cooktop, microwave and coffee maker. Pleasant terrace looking over to the mountains with table and chairs. Quite spacious with room to move around. We stayed 2 nights using it as a base. Parking almost directly across the road. Friendly and responsive hosts.

Small, sweet and uncomplicated. Easy check-in as described. The view of Lake Maggiore, mountains and Alps in one is priceless. The restaurant 7.5 m away is of the individual type and is great. Only local products. I'd love to come back. An unexpected insider tip for me.

Andrea's place is perfect, very clean, spacious and everything you need for short or long stay. I do recommend.
