Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Captain Cook

Kendall was a pleasure to work with. Space was fantastic. He even helped us out with our Turo rental and returned it to Kona for us. Extremely generous and we thank him dearly for that!!

Overall, I was very satisfied. First, Joseph welcomed us very kindly and explained things to us kindly. Second, the living room and kitchen were clean. Third, the bedroom and bathroom were also clean and well organized. A place I look forward to visiting again next year.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The home felt NICE, the details and decorations were so beautiful. The view, the outdoor shower, and the hot tub were truly highlights of the home. We also really enjoyed being close to Holualoa, such a cute town. Definitely would stay here again.

we spent a week in Matthew's place and would be happy to come back on a future trip. The house is large and full of good stuff - games, kitchen stuff, and more. The immediate surroundings are beautiful as is the view from the porch. Matthew is extremelya helpful and thoughtful. He really cared that we will enjoy our stay. Indeed a five star host. Ocean view is about 90 mins from Kona airport. I suggest not arriving at dark the first time - the area is dark and following the maps app we entered one driveway too early - backing up at darkness was scary. Make sure to follow Matthew's instructions and not just the app. The driveway to the house is not fully paved. However, after you see the way once at daylight it becomes easier. overall, we could use the place as a most comfortable place from which we could reach volcano national park several times and many beaches. it was good to be back to a cosy place at night. We would be happy to do this again!

The property is set in a lush and beautiful area and the cottage is very private and secure. The flowers and tropical landscape is everything you want in your Hawaiian vacation. The lanai is large and inviting and a wonderful space to enjoy your morning coffee while listening to the nature sounds. Sunsets through the trees are spectacular. Jane was very helpful and accessible at all times. Just a heads up. When stepping out on the lanai from the cottage, be aware of the two steps down. We highly recommend this property to anyone.

This place was exactly as described - and it was perfection! Such a peaceful and out of the way, but just close enough to drive to things you may need. The house was immaculate and the surroundings were absolutely breathtaking. The views from the lanai were to die for. I couldn’t wait to wake up every morning and drink my coffee and meditate, watching from that view. The owners were super responsive to any question I had, which were very few because they were so proactive in providing succinct instructions for me. We would most definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone staying on Big Island!

Our stay at Todd's place was amazing! It's centrally located on the west coast of the Big Island, between Kona and Captain Cook, which was far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Kona, but a short drive to popular spots. It was also walking distance from the Keauhou Bay, where most snorkeling/boat tours operated, making our night snorkel tour with the manta rays incredibly accessible. The only note is that the Airbnb is a unit within a timeshare community, and while that elevated the overall experience by having staff to assist and clean, they do attempt to sell you on purchasing a timeshare at check-in. You'll just need to decline politely, but firmly, and they won't ask again. All in all, we would definitely stay at Todd's place again and recommend it to anyone visiting the island of Hawai'i!

This place has a perfect location and is very quiet. In the morning, there was lovely music from the birds. The unit we stayed in was very spacious and extremely clean. The automatic ice maker in the freezer was a nice bonus as well. I would definitely go back!

This was my first time doing an Air BNB and Howard made my experience so great!! He was super friendly. Recommended all the great places!!! His 24 hour pool access was my favorite along with his great conversation and recommendations! Because of him I’m looking forward to staying at more Air BNBs!!

The location was perfect, with Manta Ray Night Viewing We enjoyed exploring the area and found plenty of great dining options nearby. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. We cannot recommend Michael and their property highly enough.

Great condo. Quiet location and close drive to town, beaches and groceries. Eating breakfast on the lanai was a highlight! The Kahili is a favorite place to stay as it is a smaller sized complex. The pool and bbq area are well maintained and enjoyable. The complex manager is great as well.

Great place that was private and spacious. We loved all the windows.
